Ask us any question about the Indian Cold Start Doctrine in comments, our analysts @aeronaut @oscarbhopali & @Mahmood_PDF will answer you.

Q 1: How Nasr actually works?? Does it work like a nuke? What’s its blast radius?
A:
Nasr has a 4x cell Single stage solid rocket boosting missile carrying a nuclear weapon the size of an apple. It can destroy armored division.

Q 2: Can Pak counter Cold Start without going non-conventional i.e. NASR
A:
In short we can if we get the Intelligence required to reach our battle stations before Indians do.

Q 3: To counter Cold Start we will use Tactical Nukes on our soil. How do we contain the radioactive effects from spilling into adjoining areas?
A:
Using tactical-nuke is not guaranteed, but a last resort, its yield is minimal & known to deplete quickly. Precision is the key for Nasr.

Q 4: Nasr is developed some time ago. Wasn't cold start doctrine present before Nasr? It means we can deal without Nasr
A:
Military has prepared a 3 tier strategy covering Conventional, Sub Conventional & Asymmetric dimensions. India won't be laughing.

Q 5: what do we do after the using tactical nukes? What happens after that? More tactical nukes? When there is a second wave?
A:
The second wave might lead to a full scale nuclear exchange. Nasr is designed to prevent just that.

Q 6: Is cold start doctrine effective anymore?
A:
Indian Cold Start Doctrine is certainly a threat; to ignore it is stupidity we can't afford.

Q 7: What is our strategy to tackle and give a befitting reply to them?
A:
By capturing a big chunk of Indian Territory for post conflict negotiations.

Q 8: Does india have second strike capability?
A: Yes they do but we do too.

Q 9: How much time spend on making Aircraft Carrier. Why does not Pakistan have?
A
: We don't need aircraft carriers, but we do need a handful of advanced Anti Air Warfare Frigates > 4000 tons class. It’s about requirements, India needs carriers because it has 6000km of coastline, and we have 900.

Q 10: How big area we talking about here? What if their division is spread out a large area? How much destruction does one missile cause?
A
: Pakistan is known to use cutting edge fission boosting technology to increase the yield of small warheads. Exact blast radius is classified.

Q 11: Do Pakistan possess ICBMs
A:
Pakistan has the capability to build an ICBM if required; the priority though isn't Missile range but MIRVs, Countermeasures & Survivability

Q 12: What will be Pakistan initial response when India executes its cold start doctrine? Only tactical nukes?
A
: Initial response would be to mount a Cold Start like attack on India, if they catch the drift, they'll not let things go nuclear.

Q 13: Does India has any alternate of Nasr?
A
: India has Pragati & Parhaar Missile Systems which are somewhat similar to Nasr.

Q 14: Indian air force looks in a good shape in terms of advanced Russian jets? Can they detect Nasr? Is Nasr the only solution?
A
: Indian Air Force enjoys clear numerical edge over PAF; but it can't dedicate its assets to Pakistan in numbers detrimental to us.

Q 15: I want to know about their strategy and agenda
A
: Well, India will have to give up whatever territory it does capture from Pakistan during post conflict negotiations; agenda is to punish us.

Q 16: If Indian navy comes to blockade Karachi or sea route trade etc. like 1971 then how PN will counter it
A
: Blockading Karachi is no longer possible for the Indian Navy; Pakistan can sink them in the Indian Ocean now.

Q 17: Imagine we are fighting a full scale war against the US, can we take down their satellites? Do we possess any such weapon?
A:
Pakistan can't shoot down satellites yet, however the technology to do so is available to us.

Q 18: How much nukes should India use to wipe Pakistan?
A:
Due to geographic proximity if India nuked Pakistan with a 100 warheads, more than half of Indian population will also die of radiation. Regardless of who bombs who, a nuclear exchange will annihilate Subcontinent to the benefit of Cockroaches & Scorpions.

Q 19: Due to proximity to the border plus no natural obstacle it is tempting for India. Can we not do tit for tat from Fort Abbas to Gharsana+adj?
A:
Even if just the South Asian wheat belt is contaminated with radioactivity; almost everyone in the Subcontinent will starve to death.

Q 20: Why do anyone need hundreds?? When one nuke On Islamabad and One on Gwadar Will demolish the Pakistan to its Core
A
: Because those two nukes will invite 2 waves of Pakistani nukes, destroying India from Delhi to Nicobar.

Q 21: india have BMD to stop Pakistan’s Missiles. How will Pakistan stop our Missiles if india go for a pre-emptive strike??
A
: I study BMDs, Indian BMD is far from operational and it does not work against trajectory adjustable missiles.

Q 22: India have MRBM/IRBM whose height is 150km and These BMD can do the job (400km)
A
: You can't use S-400s if we can bomb them 1st, the farther you take them into India, the less range they produce.

Q 23: What is the most vulnerable area for Cold Start invasion?
A
: Rahim Yar Khan.

Q 24: I highly doubt we will have Submarine based Nukes as it will have to be placed in submarine without dismantled control process.
A:
Babur is an SLCM with a nuclear warhead. It does not require to be dismantled or anything.

Q 25: A report said India faces an ammunition stock shortfall for a 10 day long war. Do we have such shortfalls as well?
A:
Disinformation, they want us to believe that they don't have enough ammunition.

Q26: Do you think India takes Pakistan seriously, since it is seen aggressing on China and when Chinese can't push india back how with Pakistan?
A:
India is obsessed about finishing the threats to its borders and becoming a superpower: Bangladesh was its first chess move

Q 27: Will Pak use tactical nuclear warheads in its own side in event of CS? What about considerations for its population? With LR PGMs will India resort to CS?
A:
It may likely come down to that, the other choice might be to use nukes on Indian command centers right behind the border.

Q 28: Pak have to hit India in center so don't u think Nasr is a short range Or battlefield range missile?
A:
We have a comprehensive arsenal that allows us to hit any point within India MULTIPLE times if needed.

Q 29: why do we lack in satellite mission? Our neighbor goes to town about it.
A:
We currently have a rudimentary satellite communication setup but so far we have to rely on the second piece of your puzzle for imagery

Q 30: Is India fully prepared on cold start? And is it going to use it soon by attacking us?
A:
Their plans are still under preparation as they are busy replacing their obsolete equipment- when that is complete and our nukes neutralized

Q 31: I’ve read they have deployed 80-90% of their army on indo Pak border and we have only 200k men to face them
A:
You have read wrong. Their 80% of their forces does face Pakistan but only 30% are deployed to forward positions at a time. It takes less time for us to deploy to our strength than it takes for them to react: Cold start is done exactly because of this problem

Q 32: what could be the time frame for completion of their preparation?
A:
2025 given their current procurement & training pace. Then they have to get rid of our nuclear weapons by complaining to USA

Q 33: But aren’t they making emergency purchases throughout the world?
A:
Even with them it will take that long for them to be proficient in those systems to really matter in time As long as we have nuclear weapons

Q 34: I actually read a prophecy twice that they’ll attack from headmarala / jalalpurjattan, the water there is being stopped by India
A
: Don't believe in prophecies. They are currently attacking using brainless Afghans and some 150 Baloch (out of millions of millions)-war is on

@Horus @blain2 @Zarvan @Xeric @Irfan Baloch

Q : The recent fog/Smog at border is that part of Indian strategy to sneak in RAW spies and miliatants to sabotage sporting events

.
Well we should be prepared , but I think Pakistan and India will not have full blown war any time in future.
Might be border skirmishes nothing more than that.

Full fledged wars are expensive thats why they are now using proxies

Has Pakistan completed its preparation for post 2025 scenario? If no whats is in armed forces mind/motto right now

Secondly Cold start involves all three armed heads of India working like parts of big machine even if one fails all plan is Fubar? Do you think India has the ability to master the art of Cold start?

. .
Sir not an old member, I know these guys from twitter they are quite active there : )

. . .
Why Nasr comes in multiple launcher when it's sole purpose is to nuke small area and it's range is also small?

.
Looks like the Pak doctrine is still the same - Inna Lillahi Ve Inna Ilahi Rajeun - Verily we belong to ALLAH and shall return to Him. Pak's mortal enemy needs to come up with a doctrine to beat it; otherwise, it's always like the "Last Afgan", or "Army of Apes", or, "Clinging on the US presidents", or "BD proxy traitor scum's bad mouthing Pak", etc....

.
Nuke them too, a used nuke is always better than a neutralized one. :azn:
If USA gets involved, we will nuke india anyway, even if it not involved by a long shot. I'm not presenting my analysis, this is a news... but you won't be here to confirm since you would have been charred into the nearby rock or vaporised in the vast wilderness of the cosmos.

.
2025?? I think we should be ready by 2021/22 timeframe, well it will be before next elections atleast.
