Comparison between LCA Tejas and JF-17 Thunder in an A-to-A Scenario

Taking this thread as an excuse I would like to know your opinion and inputs on the future capabilities of PAF.

LCA is a home grown Engine is home grown? Radar ? Avionics? EW ?
85% LCA parts imported. You should read auditor general's report. We never mentioned JF-17 is our own product it is a joint venture like Brahmos.

Even Grippen have Foriegn engine, Radar - UK based Salex Galelio still its Swedish. So LCA is designed in India by India so its India, its only the subsystem which are procured off the self.

So whats Indian

Well by the looks of it i don't see this thread running for too long so i best keep my comments/opinion reserved for a more relevant thread.
For a brief overview, i do understand that we have huge financial limitation and it will always be difficult to simply by-pass that however what others need to know is that there have been always that sort of difference, sometimes more sometimes less be always managed to make do. So it will be the same in near future. Also the economy is improving and putting our priorities right i do see some substantial improvements in the fleet.
Also one thing new in last decade or so is the availability of new suppliers who can delivery better or equal technology and relatively lower rates and most importantly, will keep a reliable supply chain open. China is that supplier for us, with a lot of extremely potent machines coming in from Chin PAF will surely transform itself into a much improved force in near future. These planes will be less expensive, equally effective and totally reliable compared to the older traditional western sources. Also the recent geopolitical shift see Pakistan and Russia getting closer. I am not saying that it will be at the expensive of India but still things are rapidly improving between Russia and Pakistan and that open a whole new window of opportunity for the air forces as well as the country in general.

Indian aim is that for complete air superiority over Pakistani skies and with all due respect to IAF and its extremely potent planes and pilots, i do not see that happening in the future as well. Pakistan will maintain its ability to deny IAF that air superiority and that is the main goal.

@Slav Defence @WAJsal @Irfan Baloch @Manticore I guess it will be best if you can take a look and close this thread. This is one of many other "vs" threads and thy usually don't result in much positive debates.

your wasting your time this indian patriot is a false flagger and it is a know fact but still when indian members answer him back it is there mistake as mods and admin of PDF have dellibratelli kept him alive on this forum to troll indians and get a sarcastick kick owt of it ... my request to all indian members just dont reply back to this false flagger who is so much anty india that he doesnt even feels a ounce of shame in making/calling himself a patriot of a nation whome he dislikes so much that it is OK for him to make himself one of indians just to troll indians ... hope you get my point

now to be on the topic : wer dont need to take any certificate of exelence for tejas from pakistanies or false flagging pakistanies who call themselfs indian patriots or fratriots or whatever fancy name they have for it

LCA is pain in there ***** as they despite doing job of paid XXXXXXXXXXX or running to USA and china or saudies or wherever they can get "friendly help" have nothing to stand in front of IAF hence they find solace for there egos by making fun of indian effort

@Ifrit , why you wasting your time with weekend warriors, JF-17 is a joint Pak/China project and now it's operational with four front line squadrons with others rolling off the production line....on the contrary, the link below describes how almost every major aircraft manufacturer/company has contributed into the LCA project and still it's no where near becoming operational.

Air Intake - Indian = Absolute old Tech Simple, light wt, unique with the air pocket above wing, thus no need for cannard.
CFC structure - TAML (tata advance material ltd) = No one can verify that what actually it is Developed by NAL, which have lot of experience in composite

Yes sir you are absolutely correct there is no comparison between the since JF-17 is operation and LCA still under development. Got your advise it is useless to engage keyboard warriors.

How r you Guru Bhai, haven't seen you for several days. Today I have posted something in PAKFA/FGFA thread, hope you would like it. I forgot to tag you there. Ya I know but I know they are just trolling, but I am amazed I was been banned from the pakistani section, if some of the members don't like my comment, and even i reported him, he is still not banned.

its ok i am a bit bizzi come now and then no issues
