What's new

Communist parties ask India to suspend military ties with Israel.

And communists in other countries call us traitors too, for reforming ourselves into a market economy.

If the Indian Maoists knew anything about China today, they would hate us the most.

“traitor” is not the proper word. communists in other countries call us“ revisionist”.
such like we call the old soviet union Khrushchev as " revisionist" at that time

Few years ago Communist parties of India who were supporting Congress government declared that Chinese way of economic development is not an inspiration for them.

I once read that even Chinese blamed Soviet Union in the same way in Post-Stalin's USSR.

Other than some congress fanboys and right wing media nobody actually believed it.

Then you should read more about split-up of CPI in 64 .

Also read why the disciplinary action were taken against V.S.Achuthandan for the first time .

There used to be a time when we didn't even accept israel as a nation, and Palestininan cadets graduated from indian military academies..Even in those times, the arabs wholeheartedly supported pakistan in all the wars faught between us.On the other hand israel supported us in kargil war at a time we were facing embargoes. And as for the sympathy for palestinians-unlike arabs who never have sympathised or even said a word of kashmiri pandits who had to flee kashmir or tamils in sri lanka,we had done more than our share towards betterment of palestinians-by aid, assistance in education system,by our stance asserting the freedom of palestine..But to cut our relationship with israel for the sake of arabs is simply asking to sacrifice our national interests..Commie traitors can go to hell..

Renegade is more appropriate term for traitor ,

indian communist are different from china communist.... China communist works for country and indian communist works against country.... They were created by china just after 1962 war and we all knows why.... indian communist are symbol of poverty and dirt.... They in india to leak vittal info to china and pakistan.... Our military should watch them closely....

While I am no commie lover, however you are way off the mark. Communist Party of India was created before independence of India, they even participated in freedom struggle.

CPI(M), CPI follow Russian communism not Chinese. Generally a CPIM cadres has far less chance of surviving in Maoism affected area than Congress or TMC cadres.

ya ya they gave Bengal ,Kerala and tripura to China

i said about central not about state. and also i never hate all the communist leaders. and WB and kerala are really had great leaders(buddhadev and achuthananth). but what about their parties central polit bereau leaders(SY,PK). and why communists are calm(two leaders supported china publicly on that time) when we went to war with china in 1962 and whenever chinese air power use to violate our border they wont speak or condemn china.

The party had three factions - "internationalists", "centrists", and "nationalists".

"Internationalists",- including B. T. Ranadive, P. Sundarayya, P. C. Joshi, Makineni Basavapunnaiah, Jyoti Basu, and Harkishan Singh Surjeet, supported the Chinese stand.

The "nationalists", including prominent leaders such as S.A. Dange, A. K. Gopalan backed India.

"Centrists" took a neutral view; Ajoy Ghosh was the prominent person in the centrist faction.

In general, most of Bengal Communist leaders supported China and most others supported India.

I have highlighted the Bengali names for you. How did you come to conclusion the most of Bengal communist leaders supported China? By the way EMS was in the forefront of supporting China.

Anyway ideological support to communist state doesn't mean treason.

i hate to say this but its an universal truth that though we bengalis produced some famous patriots in the past,we also produced some world class traitors who supported the country which invaded us instead of supporting our own motherland in 1962:angry::hitwall:!heck some of them even resisted the development of our country in the past with some sort of passion but thanks to the younger generation Bengalis (who are very rational and have the guts to call a spade a spade)they are increasingly becoming extinct in Bengal.
