And this should also be used for our anti terror operations inside the country, It should be given to our NSG commandos to bust terror cells. And this may complete a mission like 26/11 attack in less than an hour. Hope i am not expecting too much

Well, wrt the NSG, they have their own plans for such equipment:

Super Black Cat commandos by 2015, says NSG chief - India - DNA

This is a separate project to F-INSAS but will involve much of the same tech, but given their unique role their requirements are quite different as such they will get customised kit.


Similarly IN MARCOs are on the look out of future combat equipment (similar to F-INSAS/Land Warrior) but given their unique role they are looking beyond F-INSAS to Israel/US. It is expected once MARCOs get this gear by early 2014 the rest of Indian SOFs (excluding NSG, they have their own plans ^^^) will follow suit.

Hence by 2014/5 the Indian armed forces will look dramatically different and will be infinitely more deadly.

You should agree with me as well, if those J-10 and Type-99 were with chinese atleast they could have give a minimum fight to the Japanese during Japan's invasion of china just 70 years ago.
