COAS says IBOs and combing operations will continue in the country

WAZIRISTAN: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif Tuesday visited North and South Waziristan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations ISPR the COAS spent the day with tribal people and army officials.
COAS Sharif inspected rehabilitation work carried out for the internally displaced people who had returned to their war ravaged villages, the ISPR said.
Chief of Army Staff acknowledged the tribal’s’ sacrifices and assured them that terrorists would never be allowed to return. “Army would not go back till the job is fully done,” he maintained.
The Army Chief assured that TDP’s return; settlement will continue and will be completed within 2016.
“Focus within FATA now will be on efficient border management to prevent cross border movement,” he said.
For enduring stability, Intelligence Based Operations IBOs and combing operations will continue with same vigor across the country, the COAS concluded.
