Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
There is no harm and many benefits in maintaining cordial relationship from our side. You dont take a punga unnecessarily with a Super power.

That's just fancy talk, the United States sh1ts on Pakistan out in the open, then charges us, and our policy makers thanks them for it.. this is the reality of our 'strategic relationship...'

P.s I do agree with the latter though, I just feel sending our COAS is a bit too much, should send a low level military personal instead if that.

over the top.
Hope it's not another weapon system acquisition that India will have to match by spending money.
Pakistan should reject any American arms and reduce its dependence on American weapons.... buy Chinese stuff

The FATF, IMF, Western bullying will continue till we become their slaves, and say "Yes, Sir" to everything like Indian lapdogs.

Time for PM Imran Khan to revoke 18th amendment, bring presidential rule, revamp the justice system. Make everybody accountable in establishment, judiciary, politicians from top to bottom.

If the above is not done on urgent basis (within next 2 years), another generation of Pakistanis will suffer for next 2 decades.

Instead of treating the symptoms, we need to extract the cancerous tumor (current system) and throw it in trash. Bring in harsh reforms.

We will keep suffering if we keep worshipping false gods. Either be a complete slave, or dont be a hypocrite.

AFAIK, Pakistan has now the most expensive electricity per unit in region.

How long will they squeeze common man and get away with it? I am sure the top brass is aware of boiling temperature but still they're testing the limits.

On-topic. It seems Pakistan is officially playing neutral card in gepolitics, but I doubt it will work.

No one will pay our debts. Not China, Not US/West.

And guess what, only fixing Karachi situation, fix law and order here, make it like singapore, in next decade Pakistan 100+ billion debt will be paid. But leaders are reluctant to do that, because their children are studying abroad, have dual nationalities, they dont give a shit what happens in Pakistan. Their loyalties are with the West.

And to be honest, I dont even like commenting when these type of discussions appear,

It's better to let the nature take its course, but unfortunately, when nature corrects its course, there could be no mercy.

Here we go again with this garbage and then the regurgitating shit we will have to hear from the State Department/Pentagon Spokesman's.

.
It is very unfortunate this trip is not necessary
As there is no real agenda what is being discussed

a) Stalled Super Cobra delivery ?
b) Stalled T-129 Helicopter Engines?
c) Discussion of the F16 V package ?
d) Release of past Pakistani Expenses , under coalition fund

Makes no real sense that Head of Army is leaving all matters of the Nation behind and making a trip to USA when there is not clear cut info available what is on table?

But would be interesting to see what develops from the visit?

US continues to support Pakistan's radars, F-16 fleet (weapons, avionics updates, repairs, engine spares), M113 spares, engines for ships, spares for Cobras, spares for P3C fleet, spares and repair services for C-130 fleet. So why would Pakistani military not keep all channels open with the Pentagon? And it continues to be Pakistan's biggest export destination.

So, where's the surprise in Pakistan keeping all channels open with the Pentagon?

C'mon. This is a real world that Pakistan operates in, not a make believe one. Yes, the timing is in fact interesting - that it's scheduled right before Khan's visit to the Kremlin, but not surprising at all. Sometime ago, the Naval chief was there too.

China offers better tech with no strings attached.

All of this tech and weaponry is with Pakistan as of today and will continue to safeguard Pakistan for decades in the future. I am not sure what your argument is supposed to mean in this instance?

No it doesn't, both assertions are wrong.

PAF would choose anything American over Chinese... (for now that is until Chinese technology continues to mature)

This stupid idea people push of declaring the US an enemy and cutting all ties is simply a wet dream and idiotic to say the least.

You are not China.

No one saying make it an enemy, just implement COVID protocol and keep a 6 feet distance.

Calm down, no one is asking to cut ties with any country or declaring them enemy.

All I am saying there is dire need of introspection in Pakistan. Re-evaluate our loyalties.

A son/daughter of bureaucrat raised in west, indoctrinated with their "woke" beliefs, how will they be beneficial for Pakistan?

Now that Imran Khan has said we're being neutral in this cold-war like scenario, now focus on growth, like fixing the financial hub of this country aka Karachi?

Pakistan does not need external enemy, our own people are enough.

Agree with you.

Also the last 2 paragraphs were not directed at you bro, just meant it in general because some members commenting here think that having China as an ally somehow means they can cut complete ties with the USA and tell it to f#ck off, which is far from the case. It's pure idiocy.

The USA still maintains global hegemony, it is in our interest to try to maintain a good relationship with them, we are still reliant on them to a large extent.

Qamar javed bajwa will depart on an official visit to the USA on 20 feb 2022 where he will meet the top US officials at the pentagon
Sounds interesting :azn:

A PAF official had also meet with a US official this month, what's going on? Are we begging US again for stuff or aid??

Two top officials from the Government will visit the United States , The officials are also expected to visit the White House where they would meet the US National Security Advisor.
Interesting thing is they are going to US before khan visit to Moscow

Jaty jaty agar V-kit dilwa jay F-16 ki to isko sary khoon maaf

There was news that Pakistan will take US in conference over PM visit to Russia. What a slave mentality is that
