I've been meaning to make a classical music thread for a while now.

So here goes...

So, first up. One of my favourites...

The Blue Dunabe (An der schönen blauen Donau)

The most famous part of this waltz is 1:30-2:15 in D Major.

Do European Military march songs count as Classical Music (the instrumental ones)? Though some of them are a little fast paced but they use the same original instruments.

Yes, they do. Some of the greatest composers have made their own military march songs. Feel free buddy.

Wonderful choices.

Especially that second one, it's a masterpiece, I remember that from the film Gattaca.

Thank you, gattaca is one of my favourite films, that and equilibrium. If you like the strings conducted by te late sir. Michael nyman, you will live L.Shankar: he is the genius behind the beach violin duet in the movie "queen of the damed". Here he is playing double violin solo:

As you may have guessed by now, I have a fascination with the violin and just about any other string instrument. I love the nasal, soulful music they produce. :)

And I got another one for you folks.
One of my favourites. Now, just to let you know, I'm a huge Debussy fan:

The third movement of a larger piano suite, this part is called 'Clair de lune'.
