Clashes in London after Lord Nazir calls for Kashmir's independence on Republic Day

. .
India still has lots to gain if it can come to the table and talk Kashmir with Pakistan.
I'll bet you 10 bucks that we find something else to fight about the next day

. . . . .
Give the SIMI and IM types in India a country of their own.

They will also fight India.

It is not about land. Or water.

Definitely not about people.

Pawns. Terror fodder.

Think ....

Cheers, Doc

Prolly over the 10 bucks.

Kashmir is the only beef between Pakistan and India.
Oh I doubt it. It may have started that way, but it has gotten way past that. The wars we fought, all the religious stuff we threw in the mix......simply giving up Kashmir won't make that go away. And that's not considering how Kashmir has tied up the geopolitical strategies on the continent. Pakistan will not stop being an ally of our rivals.

.
Pakistan will not be able to get Kashmir from India through such means.

But it will generate a lot of negativity among the Indians and Pakistanis living abroad peacefully so far.

Many Pakistanis masquerading as Indians will have a tough time

. .
You think we butchered a million of each other and had the biggest mass migration in the history of mankind because of Kashmir?

Cheers, Doc
Kashmir had nothing to do with that. If you ask me, Kashmir is just the end product of all the insecurities, the religious biases and the fear both countries went through at the time of partition. Everything that happened, happened and the subcontinent ended up with the Kashmir issue.

I was simply asking that frankly rhetorical question because of your "it may have started that way" to the Pakistani line (which no one buys) that Kashmir is the only issue between India and Pakistan., and solving Kashmir (of course, gifting it to Pakistan) is going to earn us a thousand years of peace.

Peace with Pakistan will only come when Pakistan can no longer wage war.

Till they can, they will.

So it is very clear what we need to do. And it is clear to all, across the political divide. Right, left or center. Congress or BJP. And its always been clear since 1965. Before that, we were admittedly naive.

Cheers, Doc

Why do you people think state Politics is an all in or all out affair?

Its a territorial dispute not a religious one.

Highly ill advised to make it one.
