Clashes erupt in Kashmir following fire at Sufi shrine

The Kashmiri culture started getting destroyed right afer 1989 when you had completed building your terrorists factories and started to send them to kill innocent Kashmiris Hindu/Muslims and when you oust local Kashmiri Pandits..

Srinagar 25, June : All parties Hurriyat conference has called for a neutral investigation into the gutting of the shrine at Khanyaar. The amalgam appealed the people to observe a complete and peaceful strike on 26th of June. The amalgam requested all sections of the society to maintan unity and tranquility and remain vigilant against roumor mongers.

APHC said that under foreign occupation nothing in the state was secure and India has put to use its different agents to sabotage the struggle for freedom of the Kashmiri people.

A meeting of the central council of APHC was held under the chairman ship of Mr. Geelani in which the fire incident at Khanyaar was dwelt upon. The central council termed the incident as a great loss for the Muslims in Kashmir and called for a free and complete probe of the incident. The amalgam said that citing the reasons for the incident right now may be premature but a conspiracy may not be negated at all. It was aid that on one hand the Indian forces on ground in Kashmir were killing innocent people and on the other hand the policy makers in new Delhi were busy with their long term plans for the state according to which they intend to divide the Muslims in the state in the name of sects and groups . It is here that incidents like that of today help the Indian agencies.

It was added that the main target of all these mysterious activities was weakening of the kashmiri freedom movement and kashmiri people have to remain vigilant to that angle as well. It may prove that the incident was an accident but even then its entire responsibility will lie with the government as they are controlling the Auqaf that runs the shrine and takes care of their security. It is to be seen where the security of the shrine was at the time of the incident.

APHC called for a fair probe into the matter and reiterated it call for strike on 26th June. A meeting will take place on Tuesday afternoon In which the future course of action will be decided. The central council also denounced the house arrest of Mr. Geelani.

Yes you are right, it got destroyed on the Pakistani occupied side when Punjabis started filling in masses there. Today, The majority of the population of P0K is culturally, linguistically, and ethnically related to the people of northern Punjab.

Indian Kashmir maintained its fabric till late 80's and then Pakistan with their newly gained assets from Afghan war started sending terror and destroyed the culture there.. We are now moving Kashmiri Pandits back to restore the revered Kashmiri culture.. That will unfortunately never be possible on the other side of border..
