Cisco sued for bias based on Indian caste system

.
I did read the posts quite well hence the tag, you claimed that Muslims don't assimilate in the west while hindus do, I did post evidence to prove that hindus don't assimilate either and bring their cultural and religious baggage even in foreign countries. This being one such instance... It isn't an isolated incident, There are many such instances, this only came to fore because of the victim who refused to bow down... I also posted other sources which show how upper caste hindus treat lower caste hindus even in foreign countries. Find it in post #7.
I think you still haven't understood what I meant. Hindus bringing the caste system to USA and maybe discriminating among themselves (which is bad) is totally different from Muslims calling for Shariah law in foreign countries where they aren't even in majority (this is direct interference). This anti-caste discrimination law wasn't passed eventually but even if it had passed, Hindus would have accepted it peacefully.

This is from the article:
Following a consultation last year, the government pointed to “the extremely low number” of cases involved and the “clearly controversial nature” of introducing caste, insisting that reliance on case-law and the ability for people to bring claims of caste discrimination under “ethnic origins” was the solution that would promote “community cohesion” and be “likely to create less friction”.

Anyway, it's really really obvious as to debates are around which community in the West. I'm not saying there are totally no problems when Westerners interact with Hindus/Buddhists/Sikhs, etc but the debate about how to accommodate Muslims is just more prevalent and thus my reference. Even you know that.

Its you who has not understood or dont wish to understand what you are/were trying to imply is absolutely wrong. Even muslims call for Sharia law for themselves not for non-muslims. So you are obviously misinformed or wilfully dont acknowledge the fact that Hindus dont behave very differently than muslims. The law wasn't formulated for political reasons and that is clearly mentioned in the very article you are quoting.

The very same article states the following

“The government has sent a depressing message to the Dalit community that their cause is not important and they will continue to face discrimination with impunity,” said Sat Pal Muman, Chair of CasteWatchUK, who accused the government of caving in to the demands of the anti-law lobby “for political reasons with an eye on votes... This clearly means the victims will not have any legal protection and have to go through expensive long-drawn legal battle to get justice.”

The Anti-Caste Discrimination Alliance said it was “outraged” by the decision to repeal a law that had been agreed by Parliament and endorsed by the UN, and supported by the government’s own Equalities and Human Rights Commission. “This decision goes in favour of those who continue to practice caste prejudice in the UK.,” it said.

Debates shift every now and then, many South East Asians were harassed and faced discrimination during vietnam war, jews also faced the wrath during the Roman Empire rule, in the middle ages and also in the early 20th century, same happened with other ethnicities during various stages of history, the last two decades were against muslims. Now many in the west are recognizing the threat of Hindu extremism and terrorism. So dont worry your turn shall come soon...

Reality is indians have closed ranks with some English people to stop other minority groups getting jobs. Employers look at name and reject applications.
