I love all the limelight my state, Haryana is getting now a days.
Sultan,Dangal and many such movies based on haryana and all the recent raps in haryanvi rather than punjabi

We have same culture as Punjab . As we were part of Punjab not long before.

You can say we are more shy though but expressive in different ways

Bollywood movies are about Punjab, Delhi, Haryana and may be some UP. The language used can be Punjabi, Haryanvi and even songs too. Thus, making it the industry of Punjabi speakers including may be Pakistan too. I saw a labourer from Assam was enjoying Bhojpuri songs in his phone and those songs are all reminiscent of the good old 90's Bollywood with Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik etc. He and many others in India hates this Punjabism in Bollywood (Yes, these people openly tells that they hate the Punjabi Bollywood). May be OK for the native Hindi speaking belt; But not elsewhere.

I used to watch bolly movies as a kid but now they are unbearable as adult. Old movies don't show any punjabi culture, its all urdu/hindu culture of northen india UP and other hindi states. Despite the fact that most of actors and technicians were punjabis even back then. But in late 90's on wards with popularity of DDLJ its when punjabism started. I don't remember any old bolly song which was in punjabi or story based around punjabi characters.

Oh..it's all Punjabi Jaat/Jatt thing even back in the 60's. What is missed are the old Urdu/Hindustani movies which were good.
