As far as Germany is conerned, they supply Israel with defense equipment. So I find it hard to believe that they were helping the Muslims in building bombs to attack Israel. To date, only one Muslim country has ever managed to develop the N-bomb.

The world was a different place in the 60's 70's----the german scientists were openly helping the muslim nations----israel changed gears in 70's and later---starting executing the germans and brought on political and financial pressures on german---.

So the germans of today are gutless---spineless---a nation with no pride in themselves beer drinking pork eating nation now----the israelis have smashed them to a pulp----.

Their is hell of a difference between what CIA discloses officially or in letters and what it actually knows and may never disclose due to security reasons. Their were many signs that CIA picked up on and realized that Pakistan may have joined the nuclear club sooner then expected.

I also do not rule out the possibility of some level of Chinese involvement in our nuclear program. One of our senior figures attended a nuclear bomb test conducted in China in 1980s.

Recent times, 70% information of CIA went wrong resulted the invasion on Iraq and other places.

You guys do not understand how Intelligence Agencies work. On the outside, it is deception. On the inside, too much information.

You will be surprised by the knowledge of even ISI.

CIA absolutely knew that Saddam did not had WMDs. It was all bluff. Heck, you can read detailed American reports on Saddam and his deceptions and you will know this.

Please keep in mind that CIA is one of the best funded intelligence agencies in the world. Underestimating its capabilities will be foolish.

If nothing else, OBL hunting episode should teach us something. It is a good example of what CIA can do and how it can double-cross even intelligence agencies like ISI.

We are so hell bent in proving what the Indians have been saying all along, that it actually amazes me. What are we trying to prove here? To Mastan sb what difference does it make how much the US or the world helped or how much actually did the US looked the other way?
These matters are so sensitive that they are never discussed in a fashion, they are being discussed here with people openly claiming their uncles to be in the field.........seriously guys you are not only risking your own lives but putting at stake of the others who you claim to be your uncle.
Lets just grow up, Pakistan did get help or not, you can't expect an open thank you letter.

A.Q.Khan made the same mistake. He went public about so much details that should have been kept secret. Whether China and/or the US helped Pakistan, it was foolish to name them and let the world know.
