Check out the Chinese weapons which scare the world! - daily.bhaskar.com

New Delhi: China is the world's fifth largest weapons exporter. The nation, accounting for 5% of global arms sales, replaced Britain in the exclusive club of five biggest weapons sellers.

Soon after the new government assumed power in China, the country's defence budget was increased to $114.2 billion. An increase in supplies to Pakistan, which now account for more than half of China’s arms exports, and a booming domestic arms manufacturing sector have enabled China’s rise as a global weapons player.

It is being speculated that China will lead the world in arms exports leaving behind the United States, Britain and Germany.

When it comes to Army strength, China tops the list. The Chinese Army has around 22.85 lakh troops. In addition, the country possesses the most powerful nuclear weapons in Asia.

China has always hit headlines in the Western media for its anti-aircraft missile, stealth aircraft and aircraft carrier.

The actual title was "Check out the Chinese weapons which scares India !" But due to the whining from the Indians....the title was changed to "Check out the Chinese weapons which scare the world"

More china tries to scare more people will get united against it ..................India's gain :bounce::smitten:

These are only the weapons that we know about. PLA hides a lot of newer weapons.

Surely the above is just tip of the iceberg。

When it comes to military power,China is still a kid yet to leave the starting block。

The modernization drive has got a long long way to go。

Numerous programmes are still under development and under cover, some of which are scheduled to see daylight in the next 3-5 years, some in 5-10 years, and others in 10-20 years or more。

The pipeline is not shrinking but expanding。

The Chinese has a natural soft spot for toys。

As the economy grows, the Chinese will have more and more ”toys“ to play with。
