BEIJING, Nov. 7 -- The 18th Dubai Airshow is about to kick off. On November 6, local time, two L-15A attack fighter trainers flew over the Karakoram Mountains and landed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Developed and produced by China's Hongdu Aviation Industry Co Ltd, the L-15A jet trainer was making its debut since UAE signed the sales contract.

It's learned that the painting of the two participating jet trainers is mainly in the color of the UAE flag, with golden color added, symbolizing the good wishes of the Arab people for peace, unity, prosperity and wealth.

L-15A jet trainer is characterized by good safety, high reliability, convenient maintenance, and excellent cost-effectiveness. The jet trainer adopts a digital fly-by-wire flight control system and an improved integrated avionics system, is equipped with the turbofan engine with a full-access digital electronic control system, and has a strong air and ground combat capability.

During the Dubai Airshow, one of the two L-15A jet trainers in new coating will be on static display, while the other will perform a spectacular flying stunt over Dubai.
