"The USS Decatur guided missile destroyer arbitrarily entered waters off China's islands and reefs in the South China Sea on Sept. 30," said Wu Qian, spokesperson with the Ministry of National Defense, noting that a Chinese navy vessel carried out identification and verification procedures in accordance with law and warned the U.S. vessel off.

"China has indisputable sovereignty over the islands in the South China Sea and their adjacent waters.

"Currently, with the joint efforts by China and ASEAN countries, the situation in the South China Sea is developing towards a stable and positive direction.

"However, the U.S. side has sent warships into waters near China's islands and reefs in South China Sea time and again, which has posed a grave threat to China's sovereignty and security, severely damaged the relations between the two militaries, and significantly undermined regional peace and stability.

"The Chinese military resolutely opposes such actions.

"China respects and safeguards the freedom of navigation and overflight in the South China Sea in accordance with international law, but resolutely opposes any illegal provocation in the name of 'freedom of navigation.'

"The Chinese military will fulfill its defense duty and continue to take all necessary measures to firmly safeguard the sovereignty and security of the country, as well as the regional peace and stability."

US Navy a threat to little girls also.

They are universally known as state-sanctioned rapists in colonized areas such as Japan and Korea as well as occupied areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan.

In Afghanistan, they are also act as drug mercenaries.

Is that your excuse for being too cowardly to open fire on a hostile ramming enemy ship and retreating from a mission with tail between legs instead?
Yes, it was a lame-o excuse. You are smart to pick up on it.

What really happened is that ramming tactics are too sophisticated for the US military in general, not just the USN. For decades, we tried to study ramming tactics, not even to implement it in our combat doctrines, but it was to no success. John Boyd, arguably among America's top 100 fighter pilots, the man who refined the energy management concept of air combat and the Observe-Orient-Decision-Action (OODA) loop, failed to understand ramming tactics. His failure drove him into despair for a couple yrs. Most people do not know that. And yet, your PLAAF was successful in implementing the ramming tactic that brought down our SIGINT aircraft in Hainan. JPN tried in WW II but failed because of lack of time and was under increasing pressure from the Allies.

Now it looks like the PLA will be the first in military history to incorporate ramming tactics into coherent and executable combat doctrines in air and sea environments. Dare I speculate ramming tactics underwater and possibly in outer space as well?

LOL you don't like to ram a hostile navy ship obstructing your freedom of navigation mission? Why don't you open fire? Even just the balls to fire a warning shot at PLAN, I would be impressed :)

Am trying to explain to you...

When the USN ship captain saw the PLAN ship captain using the ramming tactic, he did not know what to do. That was why the USN captain decided to break from his course. You are correct, the USN do not have the balls to stand against PLAN ramming tactics.

In the past 200 years, most of your navy is invading other countries.
600 years ago, the Zheng He fleet of the Ming Dynasty had arrived in the India ocean, but we did not invade them.

During the first encounter of white man navy and Chinese navy, the white man lost their pants. Very few Chinese and white man knew that.

White man are loser to Chinese for next 300 years until Opium War. China won every war against white man.

The Battle of Tunmen or Tamão was a naval battle in which the Ming imperial navy defeated a Portuguese fleet led by Diogo Calvo in 1521.

It looks like history is repeating itself. The new Chinese navy is innovative in using ramming tactics and it looks like the white men are useless against this.

It is an unspoken rule that the nuclear power should not start a shooting war among one another.

Even before China has nuke, the PLA push USA from Yalu to 38 -- and USA is loser.

Just 5 years ago in 1945, China was ruined by Japan. After Mao emerged as China leader, no one ever defeated China.

In 1950, China has nothing, no industries not unlike 1945. Yet China manage to defeat USA in Korea. USA stand no chance against a fully industrialized China.
