Chinese vessel entered Indian waters without permission : Indian Navy

NO. spy should never be caught in the first place, so China failed.
It wasn't caught and it wasn't spying in some foreign sovereign territory. It was collecting sound signature of the ocean in that area, like many US spy vessels are doing. This is vital information for submarine and anti-submachine weapons to successfully operate there. Like it or not, it will keep on going there and collect such information, like many US spy vessels are doing all over the world.

You suppose the Chinese wanted to another dash and call that it 10-dashes Chinese territorial zone based on a new ancient map? ;)
Apparently you know little about submarine warfare.

Everyone try to understand. 400km away the Chinese non military vessel was asked to leave the area according to an Indian source. 400km away from nearest Indian land is not considered Indian waters. Indian military and government have no power 400km away from nearest Indian land. The vessel is non-military. Maybe it left because it was done with the job, maybe it left because the Indian navy around the area was disturbing the mission, and maybe it left because it felt threatened by armed military vessel.

That's all there is to this report. The really interesting idea to know is what its mission was. Testing military related acoustic equipment or observing things? What things? Was around strait of Malacca and closer to Malaysia and other south east asian country than India. Maybe Indian navy went this distance to push the vessel away because India somehow knows what the purpose of the vessel is since hundreds of Chinese ships sail even closer to India because it is a trade route. Take a look at the belt and road ports. All of them are using Indian Ocean routes and position much closer than 400km. This means Indians thought this ship represented some risk or collecting something sensitive information.

China is entering India from Land, Air and Sea undetected and challenged...
how many fronts war india is ready for?

Very good job done by the Indian Navy. Navies often use Civilian Marine research vessels to conduct suceilence of millitary=sensitive areas under the guise of scientific research

I think you misunderstood what happened. A Chinese research ship attempted to enter the Indidan EEZ in the Andaman sea to conduct surveilance ops, but was intercepted and expelled, and unable to complete the mission.

Good job of deterrence by the Indian Navy. Shows the capabilities of the Indian Navy in protecting India's waters from hostile threats, which it has done countless times, including the beginning of last year.

This was an older incident. su-30s aren't needed, simple warships and dornier aircrafts were enough to prevent the PLAN survey vessel from entering Indian waters.

In recent years China has realized it can't do much against India, which is why it has made more efforts to improve relations. Recently Wang YI and Ajit doval even held border discussions.
