China, Russia agree to strengthen joint patrols

Chinese and Russian defense ministers have agreed to strengthen the two countries' military cooperation through joint drills and patrols.

China's defense chief Wei Fenghe and his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu held online talks on Tuesday. They were reportedly accompanied by naval and air force commanders.

The Chinese defense ministry said Wei and Shoigu affirmed the two countries' steadfast friendship and unity.

It said they agreed to strengthen cooperation in strategic exercises, joint patrols and other activities, so as to safeguard their core national interests.

The Russian defense ministry said the two sides confirmed that they will implement the consensus reached between the two heads of state, and are prepared to expand their military cooperation.

The two defense ministries recently announced that four Chinese and Russian bombers held patrols over the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea last Friday.

Warships from the two countries also staged their first joint patrols in the same region last month.

Observers say similar activities could become more frequent.

Yes. Earlier India was a slave of the Turks, then the British, then the Soviets. Now India is a slave of the US. The more it changes the more it remains the same. Only the masters keep changing be it the Turks, British, Soviets or the US but Indians have always been the slaves of someone.

True. But India see itself as the household slave to its master. And other non white countries, such as China, as field slaves. This is the foundation of conflict between China and India. China does not regard itself as a slave, India does.

If Japan was going to actually unload "al these VLS 9600 of them", then why doesnt Japan EVER SHOW UP when China /PLAN sends multiple warships around Senkaku islands????? China has done this at least 3-6 times, and JMSDF has NEVER sent ships there while Chinese navy was present there. Dont come here and bluff. Having a strong military and being willing to use your strong military is 2 differnt things - Japan has stigma like GErmany from their WW actions, so Japan using its military wildly, the world will not like it. I think China is leading the world at tthis moment, no one can or wants to fight the person that feeds them, China feeds the world, nobody an fight China now without hurting themselves, INCLUDING US.
