CHINESE PRESIDENTIAL ENVOY TO ATTEND INAUGURATION SRI LANKAN HAMBANTOTA PORT
Chinese Presidential Envoy Sang Guowei will attend the inauguration ceremony of President Mahinda Rajapaksa next week, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei said today.
Sang, vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, will visit Sri Lanka from November. 17 to 20 as a guest of President Rajapaksa.
President Rajapaksa will be sworn in for his second term as president on November 19th.
Sang will also attend the launching ceremony of Hambantota Port in Sri Lanka, which was built by China Harbor Engineering Company.
