Chinese Muslim Eid Day In A Muslim Town in Far South China, Next To Vietnam

.
Is that a problem? With covid-19 epidemic. Its good to keep track of human flow thruout the mosque especially with significant human buildup.

This was several years ago. I do not live in China, but have visited it often.

You don't have to be so defensive over this. I just found this to be a strange practice, and queried you thinking that you may have some other explanation to offer. It is not a practice we see elsewhere in the world.

All the mosques in that particular city were following this practice, ostensibly from government orders. The excuse I was given was that to make sure they have adequate space for everyone for Eid prayer and there is no over crowding. But when I went to Eid prayer, the mosque was only like a quarter full. So obviously the registration was not for overcrowding.

Except for the Eid registration, there was never any restriction or registration required to attend the mosque. It was quite disappointing that prayers were very thinly attended.
More like you are defensive and raise things unnecessary. If you are a good citizen and just want to come to mosque to pray. Why are you worry about registration?

Perhaps you should read my full post...slowly and carefully.

May I know what is wrong with registration. Why do u raise this question?

Here is what I wrote in the earlier post. As I said, you should read slowly and carefully:
"I just found this to be a strange practice, and queried you thinking that you may have some other explanation to offer. It is not a practice we see elsewhere in the world."

And this is a forum, where you can raise questions and exchange points of view. This is not a dictatorship where no questions are allowed. This is why forums exist.

Did I stopped you from raising question. Why are you so defensive and shift you focus to dictatorship?

Show me a post I claim you cannot raise question? Or you are on some agenda to smear China?

Lol...you are certainly something else. Any question is "an agenda to smear China"

I am right about you, out of the blue you claim I stop your right to raise question and then shift to dictatorship when nothing indicate such...

You shall show more concern for India than China.

Go pat yourself on the back now that you were finally right. Great achievement.

On big Muslim holidays, not everyone can secure a spot in a Mosque.
