WE attacked you? With what motive? And what objectives? To occupy Aksai Chin which was already ours by then?

India had less than 10k troops on Chinese border and no fighter ac cover at all, while China had 80k troops and fighter/bomber support. Why would India start war? Looking at these figures anyone can tell India was completely unprepared and had no idea that war will happen, while China showed its backstabbing nature to IA fairly.

I think you should take a careful look at those declassified documents Syama Ayas has provided above...Heck, debating with you is less interesting than watching stones erode. There is no permanent friend or foe in international diplomacy. If both India and China imprisons themselves in 1962 its not going to benefit our country's economies. So better resolve the border issues amicably and prosper together.
