I'm glad to see that Chinese Animation is become more and more interesting, instead of watching Japanese animation, we can finally have our animation that incorporated Chinese culture and fantasy story line... and eventually we will compete with Japan in international stage.

Avatar air bender was based on japanese theme..?

Nope, Avatar is based on Indian and Buddhist philosophy. James Cameroon is follower of Buddhism.
but their scrolls and text all had some japanese or chinese text... yes it had some hindu philosophy episodes (related to meditation) but again Buddhism is largely followed in japan too

Most (not all) of religion/ sects except of Abhramic religion/ sects have origins in/around Indian Peninsula and then moved outside. So meditation, yoga, martial arts and other aspects will always overlap due to similar origin.

Computer animation? I'm disappointed. :(
It seems everyone's skipping out on traditional animation.

He is referring to this show.

The Last Airbender in general has a lot of Asian inspired themes. Airbenders were basically Tibetans, Earthbenders were predominantly Han, Waterbenders Eskimo, and Firebenders are Japanese.

LOL! this is what happens when people do not have clarity on communication.

Anyway, I agree that Last airbender is based on Buddhist philosophy which again coming from Indian peninsula.

I'm not into Chinese animation they looks more focused on culture, i prefer Japaness & for MMORPGs South Korea is the best still waiting for moonlight blade though.

Yes...
But we also have Taoism and confucianism. Virtually all modern Chinese novels and comics are based on Taoist culture.
Interesting.. time to read more about Taoist
