A kettle is roughly equivalent to a pot.

But India has no competitive products compared to China which is the largest exporter of manufactured items on earth. So this is not kettle and pot.

The proper way to describe this Indian response is the absurdity of an homeless beggar trying to laugh at the mansion of a rich man when everyone can see that the beggar has no home himself and lives on the street.
