I remember being so amazed when I was in Ankara; I was at the Pak National Day reception being held @ Suisse Hotel. Many many Chinese and Turkish scholars, and civilian/military officials. Chinese spoke better Turkish than I did, I felt a bit jealous

it is good to see increasing cooperation between China and Turkiye. Turkiye has changed a lot, it's an assertive country with sophisticated foreign policy. At times, this may get them in trouble with NATO. But at the same time, it's a strategically important country which is aiming for an independent 'external' policy.

We Turks also respect China for being an honest country and not hypocritical like Western colonial powers. Turkey has never been a colonial power, the Ottoman empire and former Turkish empires prove that. I would hope that China and Turkey could increase their relations much more, Turkey should not lean towards the West but the East, where its roots lie.

Mixing blood is good I hope there'll be some cross cultural matchmaking sites in the nearest future, turkish, azeri, kazakh, kyrgiz, xinjiang, china, turkmen etc.

I wish turkey may create a its own 2 engine fighter plane based over proven construct like j-11 B
(derived from su-27) with our own engine, avionics ,radar ,weapon systems and pods. I think engine is still a dream but others can be possible with hard and dedicated working and
these things may be in grasp of turkish industry. I believe Chine has advanced military technology but intentions of China are still a mystery. With the increase of military power they start to take aggressive approach towards their neighbors like Vietnam and Taiwan. They are becoming strong and hope India and western powers can balance it and so smaller nations may have a ground for democratic and fair space of life. And I hope one day our real brothers Pakistan people will make a solid peace with India and then by making less military spending they can improve their prosperity. I believe balancing India and China relations Pakistan
may be much more prosperous and happy we need to remember that no wars and weapons may increase life quality or bring
happiness. I write the last part because it is Pakistan forum.
