From ancient times until today, China kept our history, identity and culture but yours were wiped out like native Americans. China can rise and fall (currently rising) but ancient india fell around 1000 AD and never got back up.

I won't start here the litany of Han domination by Non Hans. It will run into pages.

Let me just say you know nothing about Indian civilization and its continuity. It has been a continuous civilization for thousands of years. We have traditions and languages and literature and faith going so far back, you won't even know.

Our Vedas are thousands of years old and they are still there and our civilization flows from them. All the major religious texts, much of the scholarly work is still there.

Of course the barbaric Islamic invaders did much damage as the Mongol barbarians did to your great civilization.

We are actually on the same side if you think about it. We have never had conflicts in the 5000 years of known history. I am sure India and China will remain peaceful neighbors.

So true, it is a fact that mongols were the first rulers of China who united China for the first time.. Second time it was Manchus.. I think Japanese would have been third if Chinis were not saved by Americans.. Chinis should be thankful to Americans that they didn't decide to rule them.. they had all the power to do so at that time..

Well, typically it meant the destruction of the city and murder of all males. Women and children were taken by the Mongols and horrors reaped on them.

The city was burned to ashes.

Also depended on how soon the city surrendered and the color of the flag fluttering at the time. A black flag on the third day would mean all living things would be killed.

The Mongols were cruel barbarians. And they knew how to make them surrender fast.
