China's Xinjiang to ban burqas in public

who are these "you people"??

and their choice is wrong... would you say "its their choice" about banks which charge interest... it someone's choice is wrong ( by common sense ), then others should say so.

let us not go round and round.

Ummm... yes I would. If you don't like it then move to another bank. They are not in the business of having to cater to all your needs. They are a business.

And no, their choice is not wrong. If it's their choice then it's the correct one, because they choose it. You're a moron. By the same token, many women don't like men wearing wife beaters. Let's outlaw wife beaters. Indian logic.

no, banks are not a business... they should have long been means for people to... (a). take interest-less loans, (b). be deposits for their socialist governments to deposit monthly compulsory money ( like in libya ).

otherwise this will happen... ( Woman working 4 jobs to make ends meet dies while napping in car between shifts — RT USA ).

And no, their choice is not wrong. If it's their choice then it's the correct one, because they choose it.

of course, any usa government propagandist like you will promote the burqa despite muslim members being against it... and you go round and round.

Indian logic.

from all my posts to you, didn't it occur that i am socialist??

Ignorants on the lose as usual.

Burqa has nothing to do with Arabs. It's not even a Arabic word. It's a Farsi word. Burqas were traditionally worn in Afghanistan, parts of Iran, Tajikistan etc.

Just because headscarfs have first appeared in written records in the Arab world (what is now Iraq) millenniums ago like so much else it does not mean that headscarfs were not worn across the world which they were.

The most conservative dress worn in the Arab world is a niqab which a small minority wear. The remaining 250 million or so Arab females are wearing regular hijabs (it's a whole industry and often such hijabs are very colorful) or no headscarfs at all.

Arab traditional dresses are extremely diverse and each historical province, region in each Arab country (every single of the 22 Arab countries) has different traditional clothing. Hell even each clan, tribe etc. had that in the past.

An example being KSA;

This below is just a tiny fragment of those dresses;

As a liberal I do not agree with this law but if Burqas are a security threat then it's a good thing. In any case this is China's own business and they are in their rights to make the laws they want to whether we agree with them or not.

one of the few times i agree with you.

one of the few times i agree with you.

You have written that a few times by now. So have the few other users that "are against me". Just shows how correct I am in most of what I write when not trolling trolls.:coffee:

Are you sure?

I have every reason to be so. You would too if you were in my position. There is no need to show fake humbleness. Better be direct and clear.

I succeeded in that too. In getting you rilled up a bit. We can impose "Jamahiriya socialism" another time.

You are yet to tell me why you are so devoted to Gaddafi. It's really interesting. You should really tell us about your life and what the reasons for your choices were.

well, you created that "imam" thread to irritate me... and if you go through that thread, i took it sportingly.

You are yet to tell me why you are so devoted to Gaddafi. It's really interesting. You should really tell us about your life and what the reasons for your choices were.

firstly, i am not devoted to any person... i am devoted to the idea of humanity, socialism, nature... and muammar gaddafi is a man of simple words... he asks questions with innocence while being practical... he has none of the fakery of the international politics propagated by the west... none of the vague "yes we can" of obama... you should listen to the 2009 gaddafi speech at the uno general assembly... i am myself a simple person, so i understand the sincerity and brilliance of people like gaddafi or castro... and i always was a natural leader, i bow to no man but i bow to brilliance and kindness and to timeless ideas.

secondly, it was in late 2010 that i first read the "great green charter", the manifesto of the libyan jamahiriya... i saw in it a simple and direct language that spoke of solutions to my situation then, that in my immediate surroundings, in south asia, in the world.

i knew a bit about libya since the early 90's but not about the ideology it followed... i knew only that it was a socialist state and muammar gaddafi was a good man and that he in the early 90's seemed to have a rivalry with saddam hussain.

and in 2010, i read the "great green charter" and decided that jamahiriya system is a great system... and then i began reading the green book, and in 2011 got involved with the "world jamahiriya movement".

if you ask what i saw in the "green charter" ( Refworld | Libya: Great Green Charter of Human Rights of the Jamahiriyan Era ), look at the below extract...
13. The members of Jamahiriyan society are free from any rental fees. A house belongs to the one who dwells in it.

in india, the house becomes one of the biggest problems in life... to buy a house in a middle-class locality, a person must do job ( wage-slavery ) which enables him to go to a bank and try to obtain a loan which comes with interest... and he then spends the next 20 years of his life repaying that loan... and then many people take more loans ( on interest ) for unnecessary things like 300-guest weddings and pilgrimages... and they won't have money to start a business or do anything of natural interest... so no real progress in 99.999 percent of people.

the children of the loan-takers then take over loan repaying of their father by going to college, getting a degree, getting a job... and their children over the money burden of the parents... such has been the cycle of four generation of indians since "independence" since 1947.

and india is mostly male, with one family having more than one male... since a house is so precious in india, there are property disputes... some disputes here have run in courts for 25+ years.

add to that the capitalist nature of india, where many mothers of the old generation will respect their sons only if they show their mother the money, especially from jobs... the family thus becomes an instrument of oppression and the house becomes a tool of threat for parents to use on children... "do this or else be thrown out"... where should the children go in a money-minded society??

you see, people sell their kidney in india to make some desperate little money for some immediate desperate purposes, and the amount of which is not enough to lease a house for three years in a place like bangalore... life is cheap.

so that simple declaration in the "green charter" that a house is a human right where the person lives without rent until he or she wishes... that thing made me read of of green ideology and its universal simplicity.

what i want is a true communist world, with the political arrangement being jamahiri... do read the below tow posts of mine...

I recall a few times but I might be wrong here. The amount of discussions and data that I have in store (chemical engineering, related sciences, my far too many interests and hobbies etc.) up in my light bulb is too big to remember everything precisely.

Just some misguided morons.

Sure, it was a ironic thread initially (the idea was to irk you and get you started as that often helps create a passionate discussion) but later it became quite serious as you might recall. I choose to delete it as I thought that it could turn into a major troll thread of epic proportions. I did invite you to start a thread though which I believe that you are yet to do?

It seems so because you have a habit of mentioning Gaddafi in threads that have nothing to do with him or the ideology that he embraced.

India has a lot of problems as has every developing region and country but are those two individuals really people to follow? Is that what real socialism and justice is about? Do you know about those two individuals crimes against their people and others?

We know about the hypocrisy of the West but the non-Western world had the same hypocrisy when they were the main powers. We are all hypocrites. Let's make that clear.

I gave you several names of much more interesting socialist revolutionaries to follow or revolutionaries in general which I believe that you should rather look towards.

Am I correct when I say that you are against Gandhi? Why is that? He is quite admired in the Western world and even Arab world.

well, i am yet to start a big thread about socialism, communism and jamahiri way... even hinduguy had told me that my posts about these have been replies to others.

but i did start the "south asia division" thread and the link i gave you has the explanation about jamahiriya but i really need to create a big thread.

It seems so because you have a habit to mention Gaddafi in threads that have nothing to do with him or the ideology he embraced.

that man was a man many words and with solutions to many problems, from korea to kurdistan to kashmir... simple and practical solutions... i don't understand why most members here avoid simple solutions and instead choose to fight on nationalistic lines... no problem remains solved that way.

Let's make that clear.

technically, we are all hypocrites but we should acknowledge that there is "good conspiracy" and there is "bad conspiracy"... any foreign power promoting capitalism and backwardness ( like about ntc in libya ) is of course doing "bad conspiracy"... but carlos fighting in the name of socialism should be acknowledged as "conspirator of good"... otherwise, what is good and what is bad then??

and these so-called crimes that iraq and libya supposedly did were those that the western government ( not peoples ) charged them with, after having created the problems themselves... be they the british-created ( mostly ) anti-saddam assasination squad in southern iraq ( i forget the village name ), or be they the lifg group that cia created.

the "crimes" were the natural response of those societies to external conspiracy... any government would do that.

and how is iraq with nuclear weapons program a bigger crook than england with nuclear weapons??

I gave you several names of much more interesting socialist revolutionaries to follow or revolutionaries in general which I believe that you should rather look towards.

i will read them in the next few months, especially voltaire... and i am sure even the modern revolutionaries took those ones as teachers.

Am I correct when I say that you are against Gandhi? Why is that? He is quite admired in the Western world and even Arab world.

gandhi was against one of the greatest real freedom fighters of india, bhagat singh... bhagat was one of the earliest socialists here and he was hanged by the british quite young... he died a socialist and was opposite to gandhi's idea of india as a "ram rajya", essentially an enlarged hindu village, a mythical place where all is good and fine.

if you look at videos or photos of gandhi's public speeches, you will see that they look like some hindu holy-man, with nothing of practical value being agreed there.

if india has crimes today, be they "honor killing" or be they farmer suicides, it is because of india becoming gandhi's "ram rajya"... i don't see why muslims and christians had to follow that ideal.

It's China's internal problem. Though, it's a very oppressive decree.

With that said, Pakistan as a state shouldn't get involved. Perhaps Saudi Arabia, the self-proclaimed leader of the islamic world can assist their ummati brothers this time?

Since when has KSA made such a statement? Arabs might have ruled the Caliphate and most of the Islamic world for almost 1000 years until the Ottomans emerged in the 1500's but that is not relevant anymore.

Makkah and Madinah have always been located in Hijaz, which is now part of KSA, but that does not equal leadership.

Million of Muslims are flocking to KSA and the remaining GCC. We don't need more migrants. We have already more Rohingya than any other Muslim country outside of Bangladesh.

Besides KSA and China have excellent ties like with most of the Arab world. If anything KSA should help its Arab brothers and sisters in nearby/neighboring Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq etc. first before looking on the other side of the planet.

KSA has done its part when it comes to Muslim refugees. Time for others to do their part.

Let Turkey or nearby Central Asian states help the Uyghur's and let the Bangladeshis help the Rohingya. This is not KSA's job.
