China's Top Nuclear Envoy to Visit South Korea
China plans to send its chief nuclear envoy Wu Dawei to Seoul, following his trip to North Korea last week.
South Korea's foreign ministry says negotiations between the two sides are underway to work out the details of his visit.
During the trip Wu is expected to brief his counterparts here on the progress made in Pyongyang and discuss ways to resume the six-party nuclear talks.
As part of Beijing's efforts to restart the stalled multilateral discussions, the senior official will also likely meet with his counterparts in Japan, the U.S. and Russia over the coming weeks.
