[global] military reports US magazine National Interest October 28 article said that China has begun testing a very clear order Russian-made Su-27 "Flanker" series, based on the development of a new fighter aircraft. The article said that this new aircraft similar in concept Suyihuosu -34 "platypus" fighter-bombers, and its power plant may be AL-31F or domestic WS-10 turbofan engine.

The article said that if disclosure of the Chinese media's picture is true, then this new Chinese aircraft obviously similar in concept Suyihuosu -34 "platypus" fighter-bombers. Similar -34 fighter-bombers and Su, China's new fighter obviously takes a similar "platypus" shaped radomes and parallel cockpit seats. However, China's newest fighter jets "canard" bigger, wider.

Article pointed out that Russia had not export to any other country "platypus" fighter-bombers, China's new fighter is not a direct copy of the Su-34, is not a direct copy of the Soviet Union -32. Obviously, although this new Su-27 fighter is derived models, but also drew inspiration from the "platypus" fighter-bombers body.

Article that China may be in its understanding of the Su-34 is based on the Su-27 was modified. However, China is also likely to be through a third party or the other way to get the relevant technologies. A few years ago, China had a prototype Su-33 carrier-based fighter, and as a basis for the development of the F -15 fighter attack.

Information about the type of aircraft avionics equipment or power plant, is still unclear, but it should be equipped with an electronic array radar, infrared search and tracking, as well as electro-optical targeting system. Kind, the engine may be used with other Chinese "Flanker" fighter the same series that AL-31F or domestic WS-10 turbofan engine. (Zhiyuan / north)

It has 2 different designs and the one which is above is looks more stealthy to me and seems it's intakes been somehow designed to be DSI in some new way to make it stealthier from front.

It seems that this project had been cancelled a long time ago.

The Chinese are now developing a supersonic stealthy bomber & strategic one:

This image, posted on the Chinese website Weibo, shows what appears to be a Chinese Su-27 Flanker derivative very similar to Russia’s Su-34 Fullback fighter-bomber. The picture coincides with rumors that a new Chinese fighter type flew recently but we have no way to authenticate the image at this time.
There is no prior indication that Russia has licensed Russian aircraft designer Sukhoi’s Su-34 fighter-bomber to China, but this has not stopped China from building its own Sukhoi clones before. Currently China has multiple indigenous Su-27 Flanker derivatives in production, including the Shenyang J-11B, a Su-27 knock-0ff and the carrier capable J-15, a copy of the Su-33 carrier-borne fighter.

The image is fake and the news unsubstantiated. The newest rumors suggest that a stealthy supersonic bomber is being developed.

There is no "link" to it (the guy who posted is a reliable "insider"). That's why it's a rumor.
