China’s Massive New Aircraft Carrier Is As Big As It Can Be

US always overstated their capabilities. Like the recent submariner incident. Bragging how advance their nuclear sub which crashed, unwilling to reveal more info.

??

More something is used. Higher the probability for failure. It gets as simple as that. So you're saying that if the Chinese Navy runs into problems...that's ok but if the USN runs into problem it basically makes them less capable?

US doesn't "overstate". You see, that's the problem with Asians.....they see things differently....because of how they're raised up....

The US doesn't hide (for the most part) what it doesn't have to hide. Asians tend to hide everything, even the slightest non consequential details.

Just because your Navy doesn't do PR every month doesn't mean every Navy shouldn't. There's a difference between "overstating" (what the Russians usually do) and showing their capabilities/posting it into the public domain (what the US does)

Anti-china media world, a new parallel universe. There is a China that is too strong to conquer the world and too weak to collapse at any moment. There XI can control all Chinese minds, but there are plenty of Chinese ready to oppose XI at any time. The Xinjiang concentration camps there can hold millions of people, more than most cities in the world, but they can't be found on satellite. People there are forced to work in hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of cotton fields, but there are no pictures. BTW, I don't know why XI can't brainwash those people to work voluntarily and have to force them.

An amazing world to explore and excited for new stories.
the anglo-saxon colonisers are scared to death from China. they see their reign ending in coming years

LoL...

Are u kidding me? US don't overstated?

Then truth is....

We all know US is king of bragging, second only to India. :enjoy:

The future isn't going to be kind to big and bigger Air Craft carriers...

Which is why the USN is working on proliferating the number of Amphibious Assault, Command & Transport ships which can carry smaller number of air crafts but are also cheaper to acquire/maintain and easier to hide in the island chains of the Pacific.

Just food for thought. :)
Hide...lol. this is not the 1930s or 40s.

"The carrier class incorporates 23 never-before-used technological advances, including some that were never developed to maturity on shore before installation on board".

So you paste 2 US sources one "bragging" (according to you) and the other simply stating facts?? And then you say the US brags?? Lmao....I knew your English comprehension skills were low but that's not how "bragging" works.

The article you posted literally states a legitimate reason why there's a delay.....new tech takes time to incorporate. Every guy who knows military tech knows that.
Hide...lol. this is not the 1930s or 40s.

You're saying a radar in China will be able to see through the clutter of the literal island the ship is behind or is near to from more than 300-1000 km away??

Good luck with that.

Leave the military stuff to me.....the TLP thread is still active. :P

Libya and Syria didn't have AShM's and other long range deterrence. By the time your 5 or however many carriers hit the waters, your neighboring countries will probably have some "teeth" to bite onto the hand that seeks to dominate them. :D

As for your DF whatever, all of it depends on the Sat kill chain.....like I said above....all long range missiles depend on some sort of guidance....disrupt it and the missile will either sink into the ocean, burn up all the fuel before sinking or miss the target.

US has a robust Space Command and dominates the Space domain. China is still working on it...

If the US can dismantle even some of the Chinese space assets....there goes the guidance and targeting ability of your long range missiles...

And even the launch sites aren't immune to attack from land, sea/ocean, air or space.

Warfare ain't a kids game. You got something? Well I have a counter for it....you got a counter counter?? Then I have a counter counter counter.

And so goes on the cat and mouse game. :enjoy:
True to some extent. However, there will be no real war between China and the US. That will be no joke. Implications of such a war will be more than disastrous for the region/world. People here seem to think war between big powers is some sort of joke or video game. Lol
There can be a possible war between big power and a smaller country since the implications won't be too drastic or world shattering, but between big major powers is a no no. Especially in this nuclear age. Except both sites accept some sort of mutual destruction or severe damage to their own terrirories.

All things said and done, I would not discount a 200 plus years-old Naval and military power just like that. It does not make any sense. For one thing, glad that China does not want to play a global cop and US is stepping away from the same role. As far as I see it, both sides will come to some sort of a mutual agreement in a few years down the lane.

I was just merely stating the facts to some chest thumping...

You're right, they may be no real war....there might be....who knows...who cares??

Those of us of sound mind already know that there is too much to lose. So both China and the US will keep working around each other but not actually confronting the other...

And then there is always the threat escalation ladder....how much is too much? Who'll back down first? Who has more to lose? Who's economy isn't doing so well? Who has a housing crisis to face?

And so on and so forth. :D

Many variables....no clear result....just a dark murky future...but if you believe PDF, the result is very clear.

Those that claim the results are very clearing and that their country will always triumph are just nationalists. They obviously will always back their country (nothing wrong in that). However, it's a problem when they do so blindly and talk more with emotions than any rational thinking . Accordibg to ultra nationalists, their country can triumph over any country and remain unscath . Just look at even some Turk claiming how they can take on even Europe. Nationalism is good, but too much of it can be dangerous.

State what fact? It must work before it can be called new technology... if it failed to delivered and work as advertised. It is called trash!

Maybe u tell too many lies? Enjoy your ban for US bragging.

Now, who gave you this small information above about the treatment of Xinjiang people by China? Did you use your own satellite to record the cotton field activities?

CNN and washington post fake media gives them info....

Want proof? Look at the clown setup video. And look at most of the comment.

Although not being discussed publicly, it looks like that China has now surpassed Russia in terms of advanced weapons development and technology. This is a key moment.
