China’s Homemade Jet to Rival Airbus, Boeing May Be Certified This Month

Now Airbus A220 formerly Bombardier. This bird is vastly superior than same class A319 NEO or B737-7 Max. Bombardier is not vertically integrated. She just go look for supplier all over the world.

If a small companies like Bombardier can make a superior bird, why not China?

China has the engine and all other replacements for foreign components for C 919, Chinese media says the reason C919 uses some foreign parts is just because China hopes it could facilitates the certification process and make the aircraft easier to get global recognition. Foreign components will be gradually replaced with local ones once the plane is certified and approved.

well, if you don't know aircraft production line is basically a forward looking into how much order you have, then you probably are the retard. You plan the aircraft manufacture facilities according to order you have or projected to have, you don't just wind down the operation and close up shop immediately or move on to the next production line. All these take times, and you lose money in between

And yes, 870 order may seems a lot in number but in terms of the entire production line to build said aircraft, it is not, you are talking about 8 years' worth of production, you won't even break even if that's all you got. The original Boeing 737 take 16 years of production to break even, Airbus A300 took 14, again, it seems like you know nothing about Airline Industry.
Why are you still comparing orders to COMAC, with a plane that airlines can't even test drive yet, with Boeing who has been in business for 60 years and sales relationships with almost every major airline around the world? explain :hitwall:

I was working on avionics. There is no other ways but to use certain certified avionics from western companies. The FAA and EASA each has a list of authorized supplier. These avionics are expensive and are not difficult to make.

But if you dont use them, you got to certifiy your own avionics one by one, which can take your projects 10-20 years more.

If one avionics got stuck in certification, your whole plane wont be able to fly in western nations.

And how about flying in China only?

Those white man are very very scheming. If your plane crash and if there is a white passenger, when using unendorsed avionics, even in your China airspace, they will assemble an army of lawyers and sue until China aviation companies broke.

But when their 737 MAX become suicide plane, no lawyer will due.

Dude, the entire point is, if Chinese Airline have a choice, will they choose C919 or Boeing 737 or Airbus, knowing C919 is not much cheaper than Boeing 737.

The question is, WILL THEY? Your answer is they made big order and if they do not, the media will name and shame them, and my reply is 870 is not exactly a big order.

I am not comparing Boeing and Comac as a manufacturer. There is no comparison.

I also said how much the production facilities can last depends on the order they have or will have, I did not just compare order to order (Which in itself is not a lot again) I am saying you won't break even for 870 confirm, and most of them as far as I know are MOU Order, maybe around 300 is confirmed order.

So yes, 870 is NOT a big order

And finally, I have not compare Boeing to Comac, while you keep saying Comac is a new company cannot be compare to Boeing. If so I would have said there are around 50,000 Boeing Aircraft in the air right now, which mean comparing both company, as I said before, is moot.
