China's " big fat target " for USN

What make you think that the Europeans might not be ahead already in such technology. Never underestimate the human mind!:azn:

Yes. DF-21D is a solid-fuelled ASBM that is road-mobile. Also, since it is solid-fuel, it only takes less than 10 minutes to fire the missile after decision has been made. Right now, regardless of what stealth bomber or aircraft US has, will only have max speed below Mach 2.3. Which means that even if a future stealth UCAV that US will deploy has a speed of Mach 2.3 and combat range of 3,000km, will take around more than 1 hour to reach the location to attack the DF-21D launcher, provided that they can detect the DF-21D launchers in the first place(Satelites are useless since China can create dummy launch vehicles). In a war situation, it will take US more than an hour to deliver munitions to attack mobile launchers that they could only identify and track less than 20% of. But, since DF-21D ASBMs take only less than 10 minutes to fire, unless USA has aircraft that can reach max speed of above Mach 6 and 100% knowledge of all mobile launchers, USA won't be able to take out even 10% of China's mobile missile launchers in 3 days, during that time China already has fired many ASBMs that sank many carriers and ships(future ASBM variants will have range between 4000-5000km, so US carriers have nowhere to hide in the Pacific if US decides to take on the Red Dragon.
Please stop talking about this subject because you DO NOT know what you are talking about. Ballistic missiles of any type, including the simple mortar that lob a ballistic projectile, require external sensors which are the operators of the mortar or satellites or over-the-horizon radars. For really long distance ballistic projectiles, like an ICBM, the sensor require is the radar and these OTH systems are usually fixed and very visible, making them vulnerable. Denial of these sensors and the DF-21 is useless.

Well, i think the Europeans are just the human beings like us who all share as much of curiosity.

But the scavenger hunt for the alien technology is not only about the technology you possessed, but the luck is another important factor.

We don't need any special technique if our archaeology sites contain a lot of these remains, since we already got many of them.

Yeah, better to stop it right now. If the government wants you to know, you will eventually see it. Otherwise, you won't perhaps even know its existence at all. :coffee:

If a training carrier can creat that much pain in Indian and American , just imagine abt chinese super carierr's.

I don't think the PLA will be that stupid by not equipping it with an anti-jamming system on board.

i believe that China and USA will engage with each other in proxy wars on diffrent fronts of Asia and Afrika.

I hope China will refuse to be part of any such US challenges - China have a world to build and should not let silly challenges stop it from it's real mission, to crate a more prosperous and peaceful world.

Nukes will not end the world but 294 megatons is quite enough to destroy the top 100 US population and industrial centers, eliminating about 80% of the US population and 90% of its industry outright. Then we should account for radiation effects which may remove an additional 10% of the population.

That will result in the permanent removal of the US from the list of powerful nations.

The US will also be careful to not stupidly provoke China in a way that forces it to retaliate with nuclear weapons because that'd end the good life for the Wall Street sharks and generals who own the place. No more caviar, champagne, Porches, hot blondes and roast geese when you're dead. In fact the US is so careful not to provoke countries with nukes too badly that it even avoids fighting North Korea directly.

We already in you life. You wear our stuff, starting to live like us, even think like us. We already deep inside of you! No need to use force, our soft power can easily do the job. This is our time!

You my friend are a little late to the party.

Nukes can cost ridiculous damage, but it will not come close to destroying a regular sized country let alone the world, no amount of nukes in the world combine can destroy a country. It's how the nukes are used that will be devastating if dropped in a major population center, a major city or even a major military installation. It will however not be enough to disable a countries production or their ability to respond or cripple their command and control structure, especially for countries that are prepared for it. That is why nukes are never used, imagine what happens if war turn nuclear between two nuclear powers, because it's the final straw, and major population centers and cities will be targeted.

That is true. However, for countries such as the US (and China) nukes can take out >80% of the population and that is an unacceptable loss. No, there's no way that any country can lose 100% of its population to nukes except city states like Singapore. But nukes can cause very unacceptable losses and "just taking a few nukes to kill the enemy" is not an acceptable strategy, especially when "a few" is actually "enough to destroy 80% of my country's population" and in fact countries will hold back if it means not provoking the enemy into a corner where the only choice left is to nuke.

Lol, it has created nothing but amusement. Watching the Chinese posters puffing thier chest about mighty twelve carrier fleets....and they don't even have one yet.

Millions of lives will be loss, in some instance millions in one strike if it targeted a densely populated area, but depending on the dispersion and size of a country's population and the size of a certain country, the effect will not come close to total destruction. That is why i believe Russia is best suited to fight a nuke war, sparsely populated, large area, mostly wasteland, with only a few cities that are of major concern, China and America on the other hand :frown:
