I first showed him American sources that considered the 075 a LHD/Amphibious Assault Ship. He said the USN and the PLAN have a differing definition of what constitutes an aircraft carrier. Regarding the Japanese Izumo class, it is still basically an amphibious assault ship. The truth is just because it can carry STOVL aircraft does not make it an aircraft carrier, at least in the conventional sense. The US "America" class will also carry STOVL F-35Bs, but that does not make it an aircraft carrier ... indeed its actual designation is "amphibious assault ship." Only the Ford class (and its predecessors) are considered aircraft carriers per consensus.

you stubborn, missions of aircraft carrier is different (power projection) and missions for LHD is to support and deploy troops and army equipment on to the enemy shores, you paranoid

No mission for both ships are different, LHD is for support and deploying troops/army equipment on the enemy shores whereas Aircraft carrier have the mission of power projection, to a destruction of enemy naval/air and ground assets from stand off ranges, you stubborn
