china will only attack india if india plays cannon fodder for the US against us. if india is indeed neutral, then it has nothing to worry about. the last thing china wants is an unnecessary war and to drain unnecessary resources. china's main threat is the US, not india. but we are more than willing to lay the smackdown on india if it comes down to it.

We are not going to be some one cannon fodder and we have never been in our history. Even we keept ourself away from our long term friend former USSR in this Warsaw pact.
In case China provokes an unnecessary war with India sure both(India and China) will get lost in the war and the west will see us both as fools.

You'd think by recent devlopments (rasing of new mountain divisions, $10 bn for devlopment work along LAC) that MMS was seriously contradicting himself, however once again MMS is proving himself as a world-class diplomat. Giving all the right noises that the world needs to hear but preparing behind the scenes.
