It's France here... You have some sort of "good" justice. So we gonna wait what the "official" case is and then if the Policeman was in the wrong , he will "mostly" be punished. ofc the punishment is not heavy, (tbh it will be very very light)... Anyway.. no revenge killing for that type of incident.

you can safely assume those guys as 'barbarians' in modern standard, they are mostly from southern China, all farmers, without much education. traditional Chinese value dominate their mindset. For this case, in Chinese saying: "Fu Chou Bu Gong Dai Tian", it means: " i won't live in the same sky with the killer who kill my father". it imply this guy will revenge sooner or later. I'm not saying his son will definitely revenge. it depends on how he is educated, or affected by his brothers, relatives, etc. There's a recent case in mainland China, a man killed a usurer who insulted his mother, the usurer has 10 buddy with him, 3 was stabbed.. 1 was killed.. this case is still a hot discussion in China, the killer arouse wide sympathy, the balance of law and ethic is controversial. I'm saying 'attacking parents is absolutely a taboo in Chinese culture'.

well........i dont know tbh then, personally it could have been avoided with a taser.

i dont know how french police are compared to british police but i assume there more unforgiving, and with the terror attacks that happened i would have expected main city cops to be armed but not callout cops for family disputes.
we call armed police (trojans) if theres a high risk of injury by weapon.

That is the case for most police forces in the world where officers on every occasions are armed. Even in Sweden,Germany,Denmark etc.

All Gendarmes and Police officers are armed. But that is not always the case for Municipal Police forces who are under the authority of the mayors and it is the mayor who decides to arm them or not. My commune has an armed Municipal Police.
The terror attacks of January 2015 where an unarmed Municipal police officer was killed,prompted many mayors to arm their forces,and the government is helping the mayors by providing them weapons and bulletproof vests if asked.

Taser should be a"must" for every policeman... Pointing your gun like a cowboy will not make the situation better... and now the "police municipal" want to be armed... poor France... give them a Taser, that way they gonna enjoy their "statut/s"...

And la "Police municipale" are not policeman... ppl should not forget that... THEY ARE NOT. therefore they don't abide by the same qualification standards as them.
So for la municipale, a tazer is enough, against any basic threat ( knife, scissor, pillow whatever...)

The nature of the work and the actual practices of Municipal Police forces vary from a commune to another,taking in account the specific features of the territories and the objectives,tasks set by the elected officials.
It is up to the mayors to take those kind of decisions,if they decide their agents should be armed with a firearm,or a tazer,or a baton,whatsoever.

well......honestly i kind of get it for the french and else where as guns are easy to get hold of.
you can can assault rifels in spain then it would be just as easy to get one in france.

over here you wont find assault rifels here but mini machine guns yes.
they also cut the barels of shotguns to make it easy to hide and use as they are easy to get hold of.

You killed a Chinese national and you are telling me that your police officer is justified. You can't kill someone even if he attacks you. French police is trained to handle such situations. It's now a year of brutal killings by French.

There's one police car burned, 35 protesters are arrested. this is the first time I know

There was an intention to kill an officer. The reaction was justified as the other one defended his colleague. It doesn't matter if the one who did that is French or Chinese,he would have received the same treatment.
