I don't know, I was invited as I would not order snakes by myself. I think they told me that the more poisonous the snake the better it tastes.

Many of the snake venom if ingested through the mouth are not lethal at all. Only if those toxins enter the blood stream can they be fatal

In Japan I was invited to eat Fugu fish, one of the most poisonous creature on earth and it was delicious.

If prepared properly yes. Many a people have died eating that fish

wow!!! Did you try that, I read somewhere that every year some 10-15 people die in Japan because of consuming ill-prepared Fugu fish. I don't know why Japanese are so crazy about fugu fish.

Fugu is eaten Raw, the main headache is not cooking but cutting the fish sharply, some organs are poisonous and some organs are not and if the Chef makes a little mistake in slicing it, he will surely be making a poisonous meal.

You have balls!!! Once I was watching a program on National Geographic, 10 most deadly challenges and eating fugu was number 10 in their list.

The only exotic food I have eaten in China was snake. It was ok and not something I would miss.

Reminds me of this HSBC ad:

I heard Chefs need special licence to prepare this fish and in older times if a customer died due to his negligence, the chef also committed harakiri.
