Meanwhile, China builds a base, uses it, and builds the ENTIRE infrastructure of a country, roads, bridges, rail, hospitals etc etc. So what dumb motherc*nt of a yankee would pick the former over the latter? Get this throught that thick skull of yours: the UK and US might have some converging interest, but when push comes to shove, it's every man for himself. If and when China and Argentina have become too close for America's 'Monroe comfort', and the US throws them a bone by giving the Malvinas/Falkands to them, in order to get Argentina on it's good side. they aren't exactly dickless. i say it's the powah of da queen. good examples are the UK wannabe HK and Gibraltar.

a strong murica is a strong UK, except if the Irish and the scots (finally) realized that they aren't englishmen.

if somehow China replaces murica as the supa powah, expects worse things to be happened around.
