China Tests DF-5C with 10 MIRVs, A warhead that will make all BMD obsolete

There goes Indian most reliable news site:
By testing missile with 10 nuclear warheads, is China preparing for a military showdown with US?

source: Unrecognized Site
Indians don't get tired of comparing themselves with china and telling the world how they've surpassed china in this and that but when they're shown the bamboo it's suddenly china vs usa.:rofl::rofl:

Even the Indian here that Bussard recently wanted @Martian2 to present evidence that the DF-41 is housing 10-12 warheads when almost everyone here knows China has this MIRV capability for past couple of years. News circulating the DF-41 has been going on for some time and US analysts have claimed the same thing. Some Indians are living in stone age

RS- 28 will only enter service in 2020.
True that, but DF-5C's deployment time is still unknown, and it is still at testing phase too. Some report says RS-28 became operational in 2016.

The fact, it successfully tested with ten MIRV shows its very near deployment.

Plus Russia is extremely low in military fund. They will view SSBN more important than ground ICBM. I doubt 2016-17, this will be operation.

Anyways, still the R-36 let alone RS-28 is more powerful than DF-5C. Nevertheless the DF-5C is a very formidable weapon in deterrence against enemy nuclear black mail, but one should respect the facts and do less useless boasting which became too common here on pdf.

DF-5C is a different beat compare to DF-5B. Its warhead increase from eight MIRV to ten MIRV.

R-36 and RS-28 ICBM might disagree with you

The RS-28 can also carry 10 heavy warheads or 20 light warheads, its payload and range are similar to the DF-5C and SS-18.

The only difference is that the RS-28 has the more improved modern liquid propellant technology compared to its predecessor SS-18.

The R-36 is not more powerful than the DF-5C, you should read more analysis from @Martian2 .

The DF-5C got thicker diameter than the R-36 with the modern liquid propellant technology. There is no reason to believe that the R-36 should be more powerful with a thinner diameter and a more primitive liquid propellant technology.

Well, RS-28 can be equipped with 10 to 24 MIRV, and R-36 can also be armed with 10 warheads starting from mod 4, both of them have more or less the double throw-weight than DF-5C

The solid propellant ICBM is a shortcoming for Russia since the manufacturing hub of this technology was located in Ukraine during the Soviet era. Now they have also experienced the setback of the Bulava SLBM, so the liquid fueled Sarmat is now a top priority for them to maintain their nuclear deterrence.

You shouldn't equate the DF-5 with the DF-5B/C.

The DF-5 got a throw weight of 3200 kg, but the DF-5B/C are a completely different story.

You just shouldn't expect that China's liquid propellant technology didn't improve in the last 30 years.

RS-28 has throw-weight up to 10,000kg while DF-5 has only 3,000kg, DF-5A upgrade only increased throw-weight of missile from 3,000 to 3,200kg, so it is unlikely DF-5C will have similar throw-weight of RS-28.
