What's new

China SAC 5th gen F-60 is for navy and export purposes, said by PUPU

This aircraft has enormous potential, especially for export......................but for that China needs an image revamp. It's being isolated for a long time causes only a few to buy Chinese military exports. That is why only a couple large countries have expressed interest in them..........
Opening a China up bit more to the world will improve the way world percieves China, and even the West will stop seeing it as a threat. This will lead to profit for everybody
as long as the west and Indian still see us as 'commi'````no matter what we do, they will still think we are possing threat to them

What is your opinion on the quailty of Russian Avionics?

Will the avionics on the PAK-FA be truly 5th generation or merely just very good 4th generation?
no idea``I am not experts on that``but just based on PuPu or other insiders, the only two aspects that China now has clear cut advantage over Russia is avionics and AESA radar```and still```these are just their opinion...whether you believe it or not, its entirely up to you````

Rhetoric!! When did you last time see China refusing Pakistan about any sophisticated technology?

To remind you J-10 was the first fully indigenous and most advanced fighter of China during 2006 because no advent or appearance of J-20 took place at that time, during President Musharaf's visit to China in 2006 China not only offered Pakistan its most advanced fighter J-10 but also agreed to customize it according to PAF needs. Not only that SD-10 the most potent air-to-air missile of PLAAF was not only offered to PAF but also improved it to a level of SD-10B on PAF's demand

PAF pilots have been flying PLAAF and PLAN aircrafts and that is not in training or exercises but on frequent bases... Now tell me how many times IAF pilots have flown the Russian navy's or airforce's aircrafts in Russia without being involved in exercises

Not only that in past China provided us with M-11 instead of huge american and European pressure , then China was neither an economic power nor militarily as sound as it is today but still she sustained the pressure and went ahead with the proceedings.

Till today both countries have worked on various sensitive projects together officially or unofficially what else you want?

Its not about what China is offering its all about what PAF can afford ... The problem is not with Chinese offering but our economic crunch. Had the poor economy being not the hurdle i bet you, you would have seen J-20s in PAF colors in next couple of years or when ever they would have been ready for mass production.

I dont know why you people always live in illusions or its just that you love to be ignorant. Or may be you love to waste other's time thats why you come up with the same things time and time again

Let the sense of maturity prevail ...because its what most needed for the peace of this region rather than being so insane and taunting others for the things that don't exist
Its not all what you can afford , its what China wants to give and thats just a reason what you had mentioned . China will make sure that it gives only that weapons which can be against India which is in its interests . What about space technology , you could have afforded for it once , but its very risky for China as its a competition where you still need to enter .
lol what a great delusion :P J20 in PAF colors in 2 years :rofl::rofl: why would they give J20 to you with out inducting them in their AF ? They are in a very urgent need of fighters . :P I dont know how many times you asked Chinese technology .

Did China provide you nuke sub ? Nuke capable worlds one of the top class cruise missile ? We do fly Russian planes , leave about Russia , we have access to many other planes too :D

.

So you mean there are some weapons that have written "use against india only" all over them and there are other weapons that have written "use against rest of the world" all over them...Kid weapons are weapons they can be used against anyone.

And the way you are talking you are degrading your own defence capabilities , If China provides cheap and low tech weapons to Pakistan just for use against india it means china thinks that indian defence is nothing than a lollipop , is it so?

What about space technology , you could have afforded for it once , but its very risky for China as its a competition where you still need to enter .

Again what a senseless comment , why would a country suffering from economic crisis , having defence-centric approach and a country who fought several wars and is still fighting with non state actors and a big foe on eastern borders will like to spend too much on advance space tech when she is finding very hard to even finance its defence modernization and on going projects ...

As for the basic space capabilities we have already sent satellites with the help of China , infact it was not too far back when the last one was sent

If you re-read my post i said "or when the aircraft enters in mass-production

Nuke capable worlds one of the top class cruise missile ?

When we are developing our own that buying from china does not make sense , obviously we are not india who always loves to spend huge bucks for foreign products and never looked for developing its own industry . It is the only country of this size who depends on foreign made products to fulfill ~90% of her defence needs

We do fly Russian planes , leave about Russia , we have access to many other planes too :D

Kid the flying i was a talking about is heck different from what you are perceiving or are pretending to... do you think flying aircrafts under the use of another airforce as a friendship gesture and allowing to have a look about the goodies inside the aircraft is similar to flying aircrafts for testing and evaluation purpose in MRCA bid?

To be honest you are on a mission to troll and you will keep trolling with senseless posts until your ego is not satisfied.

So best of luck with your little ego....

I am done with you

I dont think J-20 will be exported to any other country. even if it was offered to Pakistan then this type of heavy fighter doesnt fit in with the PAF doctrine of going for light -medium multi-role jets.

BEST bet is some single engine toned down small version that will fit the bill for Pakistan or any other country that has close relations with China

I wont be surprised if Chinese have some export restriction on J-20 just like USA has for F22 (not even for Israel)

secondly..

when Pakistan is already working on JF-17 and then its possible followup blocks and then J-10B in the future to share the front role with F-16s then there is not much room or resources left for yet another fighter. maybe in the next 4 or 5 decades by when most of us wont be around or would only care about our medication rather than who has skylab and who has starship

Irfan if your post is in response to my words... Then in that case i was assuming an ideal scenario where PAF has all the monetary resources to finance such deals ... Actually my answer was to that indian guy who said China always gives down-graded equipment to Pakistan and never let Pakistan a sniff of her high end programs ... My point was that its not China that is not willing to offer us its best tech rather its us who are suffering from lack of resources to finance those projects.

And the doctrine of PAF which you are talking about is also due to the financing limitations and economic crunch ... Had it not been the case we would have seen a different doctrine ....

If we assume financing as constant and the tech as variable then i dont see China ever having a problem in supplying J-20 to Pakistan... In past both countries had shared many such sensitive things... Its not about typical buyer-seller relationship but its more based upon mutual trust and respect ...

Now as PAF has limited budget to play with like always throughout its history so we can say that xyz doesnot suit her doctrine but if PAF gets enough bucks something like india or Saudia then who will not want to buy a twin engine stealth aircraft from a trusted partner

The USA refused to sell the F-22 to Japan, the J-20 won't be exported some time but the J-21/J2X yes.

Also I've heard Pakistan prefers single engine fighters correct ? The jf-17 block 2 will be good as well.

You are talking joke. JF-17's specs were decided by PAF, with a very tight cost control in consideration. That incurred quite a few compromises on its design, which wouldn't be accepted by PLAAF. Let's use Su-27 and Mig-29 as example to explain it in a simple way. While both were available to them, PLAAF had never wanted Mig-29, they always and only wanted Su-27. In comparison, PAF had already got their Su-27 tiered fleet, which is F-16, and they only wanted to build a new Mig-29 tiered fleet, which would be the JF-17.

Nonetheless, CAC had done their best to make JF-17 as advanced as possible. For example, BVR capability, low observation design, etc.

JF-17 proves to be a very successful product and it is very solid. You'd better watch some airshow videos of it on YouTube. Of course you can also find some Tejas/LCA videos up there. Do a comparison and make a conclusion honestly to yourself: is LCA really a failure?

BTW, for a long history, Russia has been sucking India's blood by transferring technologies to India which India can never master. The latest instances just include the nuclear submarines, considering India can't even make its own conventional subs. For Pakistan, they don't need nuclear submarines. They only need conventional ones plus cruise missiles with nuclear war heads. Then they sit back, relax and enjoying watching India's bleeding.

Maybe This Really Is China’s New Stealth Jet

f-60.jpg

mystery jet that also resembles the F-60 as well as a picture of a model F-60 that strongly resembles a smaller version of an F-22 Raptor (with different air intakes and engine nozzles, etc.) I’m not even gonna say it.

If this veiled jet really is the F-60 (it could be another airplane or just a large mock up of the F-60), China might be on track to to reveal two new types of stealth fighters in less than two years.
