What's new

China’s war-like logistics of Libya evacuation are world-class.

So india "demand" a UNSC seat, eh?

What a farce!

Take a good look at this crisis that affacts the world's security:

All UNSC 5 have evacuated most of their civilians there already by now;

Even Germany, a non UNSC member, has already flied several secrete missions to remote desert sites for its citizens;

Even Turkey has evacuated most of its 15,000 people.

Anyone sees that Turkey demands a UNSC seat?

Where is your "superpower India" then ?

Barely started for its 18,000 people there.

When your 1000-person-capacity Indian warship will finally arrive, eh? somewhere in May?

And that assumption is also depending on its future luck of avoiding being sunk in the Med

by a German oil tanker or a Norway fishboat or somthing through a slight touch.

Only then India may have an opportunity to realise how "Aryan" is spelt in the reality, surely?

Thru this evacuation event, even a moron can understand that India even can not, and doesn't want to, gurantee

the security of most of its own people, let alone the security of others. UNSC ?

So India demands a seat, eh? Once you install a funtional indoor plumbing, we'll

UPS you a seat that goes with it, alongwith a bottle of stain prevention cleaning gel, for free! Get that?

Most Pakistanis could speak/or read some Arab, right? Plus, i would assume that Muslims won't hurt each other there?

Comparatively, Vietnamese would be in greater danger.

I think China might decide to evacuate whomever in its way there, especially Vietnamese.

It's a not a Muslim vs Non-Muslim fight, its an all out brawl, and lots of innocents are going to die. Not to mention Gaddafi has hired mercenaries from poor african countries to crush the rebellion, you know they fire indiscriminately and no most Pakistanis can't speak Arabic. Not to mention the vicious rumor that someone started that Pakistani army is in Libya participating in the fight, totally ridiculous but in these situations rumors are enough. The evacuation of Pakistanis is ongoing, but only through air route by official government channels. I'm sure people are making their own arrangements too.

Gaddafi cares about his own as_. If he kills his own people already, what's some other nation's people caught in the crossfire meant to him?

Saw him on TV, he insists that that the protesters are cheering for him. Reminds me of that episode of the Simpsons where Mr. Burns asks Smither if the audiences is booing his film and Smithers says "Uhhh no sir they are shouting Boooourrnnns"

Good to know.

My guess is that the corresponding arrangement has already been planned, if I were China, to rescue allies and other Asians such as Pakistanis and Vietnamese in the next step.

Jew media? Can you for the sake of decorum not say things like that?

Well, my grandpa told me so. He met Gaddafi in person, twice, with a business delegation in the early 80's.

Gaddafi technically is Libya's Mao. It was Him who led Libya gain full independence from Italy , the UK, the US, etc, hence one could imagine that he probably has an inherent grudge against the west, and vice versus.

Corrupted he is, his economic policies have been far better than Mao's.

That's why Libya was even richer than Iraq before Reagan boobed Tripoli in the 80's and followed by strict int'l sanctions.

Still, Libya has managed to be the richest country in the region, and in whole Africa actually.

From so many evacuees of so many nationalities working there in hugh infrastructure projects, you can have a glimpse of how rich, relatively though, the country is.

I find those "awakened" oppositions may have few clue on what's going on after ridding of Gaddafi. Will normal Libyans' livinghood be better without him, and with another "Gaddafi" of the opposite clan like what Iraq did ? Or will Libya fall back into another US -controlled banana republic, a sham democracy of the third-world India and Afgan? I find it highly likely.

Meanwhile, though Gaddafi is far from a saint, Jew media is busy at demonising him. I just saw a western TV interview to the Spokman of Gadaffi. He is a young Arab in his early 30's, soft spoken with fluent English - apparently educated in the West, Duke? Princeton?

He was very good mannered and politely stopped each time to listen to the TV reporter instead whenever the reporter was forced into the corner and rudely interupted his answers or tried to divert to another topic. The Western reporter's headline story was "Gaddafi threatens to kill 100s of 1000s of Libya people" , while he was explaining the context where the "cut & paste" western report headline came from.

He was saying that Gaddafi has asked the oppositions long time ago for negotiation talks, whatever the demands are, being democracy, power sharing, frreedom of speech, etc, as long as aiming at a peaceful solution because Gaddafi didn't want going to a civil war when 100s of 1000s of Libya people COULD die from both camps, because he believed that Libyan people's blood were too precious to be shed in such a stupid war which has been primirarily desgined and diliberately caused by Islamic extremists and Western powers ( My gut feel told me the same thing : see my recent thread "my conspiracy theory) So he wanted a peaceful solution, ye the opposition refuses him "with my way or high way", Out of all these, the Spokeman acused the Western ( a.k.a. Jew) media, that it refuses to report a word of it at all. Instead, it accuses Gaddafi of trying to start a civil war...

Whether one believes him or not, at least I find a peaceful solution is attractive one than blind shooting until the last one standing with the economy and ordinary people going to hell. Yet even before this spokeman finished his sentence, the TV reporter shut down his mic. Interview finished.

Guess what I am picturing now, that mountain of "convincing" main steam Jew TV/radio/newspapers /reports / analysis of WMD weeks before the Iraq war...

I am not taking sides in this fight, but this typical pattern of one-sided reports is sickening, clearly aiming at brainwashing - identical to that of 2008 western China Riot reports, where violent rioters killed 100s of Han Chinese and Jew Media universally didn't mention a word of it but reported instead that the peaceful protestors got killed by majority Han Chinese army and police.

Jew media or not, I am not trying to be anti-semitics here, but you be the judge.

It is a well-established fact that Muslim does not hurt Muslim.

The Martians have landed.

You still want to waste time arguing with a guy saying Gaddafi is a nice guy?

Remember Neville Chamberlain's talks with Adolf Hitler?

China sends military transporters to bring home Libya evacuees - People's Daily Online March 01, 2011

China has sent four military transporters to bring home its nationals from Libya, the information office of the Chinese Ministry of National Defense confirmed on Monday.

The Il-76 transport aircraft were dispatched to the conflict-ridden north African country Monday with the approval of China's Central Military Commission, an office official said.

Meanwhile, a Chinese navy frigate of the "Xuzhou" fleet, which had been conducting an escort mission in the Gulf of Aden, traversed the Suez Canal into the Mediterranean Sea Sunday.

The frigate is expected to arrive in waters off Libya on Wednesday to provide support and protection for ships evacuating Chinese nationals.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, almost 29,000 Chinese have been evacuated from riot-torn Libya in China's largest-ever evacuation,

As of 10 a.m. Monday, about 2,500 Chinese had been flown back to China, while 23,000 had been temporarily accommodated in third countries, and 3,400 were en route to third countries, the ministry said in a statement.

In the past few days, thousands of Chinese in Libya, mostly employees of Chinese companies with businesses in Libya, had fled to neighboring countries, including Greece, Egypt and Tunisia, by sea, air and road, according to the Foreign Ministry.

About 10,000 Chinese evacuees were on the Greek island of Crete, 1,600 in Malta, 11,000 on the Tunisian island of Djerba, and 400 in Khartoum, Sudan, and in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates

Two foreign ocean liners chartered by the Chinese government were carrying about 2,800 evacuees to Malta and a Chinese vessel was heading to Crete with about 600 Chinese aboard, it said.

The Chinese embassy in Libya and working groups from Beijing were arranging for Chinese nationals to leave Libya by road for Tunisia.

Foreign aircraft chartered by the Chinese government were flying evacuees from Libya to Khartoum or Dubai, it said, without giving the details.

Chinese airlines had also been operating chartered flights to bring home Chinese nationals from Tunisia, Malta and Greece, said the statement.
