I am pretty sure an F117 can be out of storage, fuel up, fly off, have a couple of air-refuellings and fly in and out of china taking pictures of the main square in Beijing before anyone knew it was there....
Long but a real good article
Just like Serbia, oh wait....I am pretty sure an F117 can be out of storage, fuel up, fly off, have a couple of air-refuellings and fly in and out of china taking pictures of the main square in Beijing before anyone knew it was there....
That useless piece of junk gutted Iraq's C & C, C4I, supply depots, staging areas, headquarters, and a few palaces for good measure, and did so untouched in heavily-defended airspace.
It was also flying 30 years ago.
Gents...Just like Serbia, oh wait....
You're a funny man. What about the one shot down in the Balkans?
Thirty-eight thousands sorties with only one F-16 and one F-117 lost. Is that an air defense combat record to boast about?Despite strains, the Alliance held together during 78 days of air strikes in which more than 38,000 sorties 10,484 of them strike sorties were flown without a single Allied fatality.
Because Serbia is on par with China in its air defences right? The idea of a single F-117 flying into the heart of Chinese capital without arousing any alarms is laughable.Gents...

The idea of flying a Cessna into Red Square was even more laughable - but it happened. link China's air defense is modeled on, but far inferior to, that of the Soviet Union. So why would you think a practically invisible F-117 would have trouble reaching Beijing?Because Serbia is on par with China in its air defences right? Did you not read in your own link that he was tracked all the way through? Possible. Sure. Likely? Sure I did. He was tracked - part of the time. With an F-117 the Soviets would have only got occaisional radar reflections now and then - never enough to track the aircraft.Did you not read in your own link that he was tracked all the way through?
