China’s e-passport maps irk neighbours

I have told this in other same topic related thread. that, the ground reality and issuing visas showing maps according one's public appetite is different. We know that they are playing up to their public gallery. All the countries are free to feel what belongs to them. China can show entire earth belongs to them. We can go further and show entire solar system in our map. Pakistan can show entire Milky way Galaxy as their map. And Bangladesh can place a point and call it universe and it belongs to them. Anything can be done so long as it does not spill blood.

China dare not facing with Japan, you choose the small neighbors.

Guys, everything can be written on the wall. But anyone understands that a wall is just a lot of bricks:)

The only thing China is really concerned in is economical growth.
Any war will push foreign capitals out of China.
Chinese are wise.

Wise people in Chinese government, real decision makers are enough for peace.

It is always better to be polite, even with competing neighbors. :) Then you discuss constructively:)
China need economical growth. As well as Vietnam. The growth depends heavily of foreign investitions.
Any conflict will hit the growth.

I doubt the Chinese government is wise. It acts childish and brainwashes their citizens, too. Just look at their latest provocation (e-passport), and you realise the current Chinese government is pushing their nationalistic agenda further.

Why are you so blood thirsty?

I believe they play too much war games. It´s time to slap their face to get them back to life.

Don't react at nonsenses:) Pictures and maps means nothing. Just keep you gun powder dry, and build your new beautiful Vietnam!

I think you had very interesting common history for the last 2000 years:)

China's new passport not a problem in Thailand

THAILAND - Thailand has no problem with the new Chinese passport and recognises it as long as it is legally issued by China as a travel document, the Foreign Ministry said yesterday.

The new passport, which contains a map showing most of the South China Sea belonging to China, provoked angry reaction from many countries in the region including the Philippines, Vietnam, Taiwan and India.

The Philippines and Vietnam said they would not put immigration and visa stamps on the controversial passport.

The US also raised concern over the issue.

India, angered that the map claims Arunachal Pradesh and Aksai Chin as Chinese territory, is stamping its own map on visas given to Chinese visitors.

The Thai Foreign Ministry's permanent secretary Sihasak Phuangketkeow said the issue of the South China Sea is sensitive for many countries in the region, but the map or graphic in the passport or on other travel documents should not have legal implications on sovereignty over the disputed territory.

"Recognising the travel document is not equivalent to recognition of sovereignty of any country over any disputed territory," he said.

China has territorial disputes in the South China Sea with many countries in Asean, including the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei and Malaysia.

Relax - China's new passport not a problem in Thailand

It seems only the ones have some kind of land disputes with China are making big fusses. The rest don't care either way.

I don't know why some of you guys are still supporting this silly action, it doesn't help anything but joking around.

We must act aggressively otherwise the Chinese would see as weakness. Putting disputed areas on passport is a provocation, this action stands in contrast to their words of negotiation. China is a liar!

Thailand has no stakes in the dispute, no wonder that they stay neutral. Though the Thais say:
"Recognising the travel document is not equivalent to recognition of sovereignty of any country over any disputed territory".

Got it?
