China: Richer but Repressed

Maybe,But they don't bury the evidences.

Were you unable to comprehend what has been written.

i thought some idiot posted some pictures and was forced to explain what meaning he saw in these pictures in order to his (ill-conceived) message through. i thought that was funny and that he was an idiot. i didn't read what that idiot actually wrote.

This article is just so wrong in many ways. It is again one of those articles that you give a conclusion first and then fill pieces all over the place to "support" it. This is one of the major reasons foreigner keep wrongly predicted what is going to happen in China.

Nowadays, Chinese can speak their minds—but not write what is in them without taking tremendous risks.

This is such a BS. Just check yesterday's 163.com (One of the main Chinese news site) on China's vote on Syria issue. There were over 100 thousands posts (with explicit ip address) praising US and bashing Chinese government saying it doesn't care human life. For a moment I thought the site was controlled by CIA. Today people criticize Chinese government much more fierce than people in US. As long as you don't receive money from foreign agencies and at the same time say the government is illegal since it is not voted (Like Liu Xiaobo does).

Different country have different expectations on the government, it is deep in culture. Most Chinese see the government as parents, yes sometimes it could be a little abusive, but as long as it takes care of the country and people, people will live with it. For instance, if Chinese government's responses on natural disasters are as slow as US government on Katrina, or Japanese government response on the recent earth quick, it would've been overthrown already. People go to the street not to overthrow the central government, but try to get as much attention as possible FROM the CENTRAL government so wrongs can be corrected. That's the reason it is so funny to see journalist predicting China could be in deep trouble/China Spring since every year there're 4000 large scale protests. They just have no idea what Chinese are thinking about. This is no longer 1989.

As a matter of fact, I believe Chinese government pay more attention to public rages than United States. For instance, the D-train incident someone mentioned above that caused 35 death, a 90 pages (?) very detailed accident report was give in December and 55 officials got sacked because of the public outrage. I don't see that happens in other developing countries, and developed countries.

网易 is indeed run by the CIA and populated by losers. what did you think otherwise?

the real voice of China is 腾讯网.

网易 seem like a bunch of bots running the site, the lack of general reasoning skill and basic logic is just staggering.

Is sites like those that reminds us how gullible people are regardless of their nationality.

There're some robots posting the same sh*t over and over, I know that. 新浪(sina.com) is much more mature. Anyway, my point is that the very fact sites like 163.com exist in China shows how ridiculous the statement is saying "people face tremendous risk writing in China".

In 网易 there are people fly the US flag and Japanese sun imperial flag, lmao, and they don't get shot.

I wish they did though.

If you believe a 163, it is an absolute error, where 90% robot and Western propagandists, even I wonder if they removed all the anti-Western rhetoric, this is their style, which is their business. Chinese BBS is a better understanding of public opinion, but you still need to exclude those propagandists, from my observation, where there is an overwhelming support for Syria in Chinese BBS.

In fact, I am also surprised that why the comment in 网易(www.163.com)is so negative. I remember that in this article:http://www.defence.pk/forums/world-affairs/157064-chinas-online-propagandists-revealed.html, It refer that there are are net army that working for china government! In fact, it neglect another net army that working for USA and other countries to defame China. the argue about the two army is always there. If it is true, I think 网易 is occupied by the net army work for USA.
I don't browse 网易 often, and in fact I also don't like read the comments, when I say the title, I know what the netizen will say!!
But if you want some funny, In fact you can read some, and the comments of the 网易 is so funny. USA and the western are richer, so they have more money to employ better "educated" people to make these funny comments.
And from the comments, I think many are employed by JAP and the No.1 powerful country in the universe!!

All this coming from Indians. A perfect example of pot calling a kettle black. Indians are truly pathetic.

The chances of photoshop is slim as it could be easily detected and no photographer would destroy his reputation doing that. But posing is a real possibility in this case.Maybe that tricyclist was just posing for photographer and those Water bottles were Intricately arranged.Another thing is that these bottles were empty so even if this image is recorded in real time,it may not be such a gravity defying feat.

that is because these pictures are not bad in themselves. These pictures may serve as a version of rorschach inkbloat test albeit with limited outcomes. These photograph could represent pathetic conditions of chinese workers or the hardworking nature of chinese enterpenures depending upon the view of observer or they could be an example of abstract art as the photographer desired.I provided that link because they were part of post but i was not able to upload because of browser problems.

Err, there are plenty of photographers using photoshop deliberately and are world famous exactly because of the artistic value they added with the retouch. Have you ever been to a photography exhibition in one of the famous art galeries in a world class metropolis?

And how do you think the water guy climbs up to load/unload the empty bottles?
