China Rejects Russian Blame for INS Vikramaditya Carrier Snags

This incident shows the Quality of the Air Carrier ,We don't know how many different parts they used from china and where they military grade or cheap local grade.Russian product are getting unreliable it's a good start that india started buying weapon from western countries.
i have a strong doubt about this carrier ability to perform long time without any problem .
We should have develop it in india from expert advice from France or Britain .

So the Indians can't make the firebricks。

If they could, they would have insist on using their own “bricks” considering how nationalistic Indians are。

Conceited people should use their own freaking bricks。:azn:

even the paint is imported from china.

forget the weapons, even the freaking paint is imported.

these indians have no shame.

atleast learn how to reverse engineer, even iran can do it.

Didn't Russia copy B-29 as Tu-4 , if you say we stole yr Su-27 then you Russian are thieves too

The TU 4 was a copy. However, that was 60+ years ago and it was on Stalin's orders. Tupalev was against the idea. Now how many aircraft after the TU 4 were copies?

Probably inida wanted the fire bricks for the "Tandoor" traditinal oven to make "Rotis" bread for their jawans.:cheesy:

first, Russia told India that firebricks was not suit for AC no matter what type firebricks, but India persisted

Maybe next time IN should consider china as a strong competitor to bid for your second hand carriers renovation contractor. We are confident to deliver it on time and quality guaranteed.

indians should be very pissed off, not cheer leading for some russian here in this forum.lol
the russians are treating them dumb morons with their bs excuse like it's all indian fault
for not choosing asbestos heat-proofing blabla.. now, with this bs chinese bricks.. they haven't claim any responsibility yet.
not even mention all the other bs price jacked up to billion of dollars more than previously agreed..

So? You admit Russian steal too. You got the cheek to come and talk about others? No wonder Russian and Indian are becoming close brothers. Becos they like to talk abt others without looking at the mirror first.

That brings the question what fire bricks are used by chinese in their aircraft transport ship?

definitely not randomly picked off-the-shelf product from alibaba.com without tested, if the russians words are true.lol.. china is an active top 3 shipbuilder in the world. the indian carrier is refurbished by a known sub builder and the shipyard had been inactive for many many years. that's why all the mess...

quality products from certified suppliers。not some nondescriptive rural family workshops from which the Russians bought for their Indian customer。 cutting corners to maximize profots is a game that the Russians have played against the Indians for years。

moral of the story:have your own defence industry!

Even after all these incidents you Indians still don't get the right answer.
It's not about Russian or Western weapons, the only thing that really matter is that Indian goverment should produce by herself.
Train your workers.
Educate your engineers.
Build your factorys.
Test your own designs.
And STOP paying Russians or Westerners.

Of course Tupalev was somewhat relectent to work on Tu-4 because they wanted to work on their own ANT-64, but then what was the alternative for USSR back then when strategic bomber was badly needed for them to count the treat from USA when their own Pe-8 was very unreliable.

And don't take me wrong here, even cloning B-29 was not a small feat back then because literately USSR had to reinvent the B-29 because Soviet had to start from scratch since metric system was used in Soviet, and there is no way Tupalev had any available tools to manufacture 1/16 inch (1.5875 mm) thick sheet aluminum and proper rivet lengths. If anyone think that process was easy then he or she should revisit his or her professor at manufacturing engineering.

During the cold war KGB was and should be appauled for its many successful industrial espionage.
Maybe not the whole aircraft, but many of the subsystems were actually reverse engineered from USA.

Bro, there's not the point. In fact, I admit RE is by no mean small feat. In fact, its says about a country technology advancement. But when comes to defence, any countries will do whatever they can to help their country maintain the decisive edge. To talk about moral issue of stealing is wrong in defense, only those loser or countries who is in decline and loses it edge over another will try to bring up this point to make them stand on a higher ground. But nothing will change the fact, those who say it this way are simply jeaplous loser and the loser country is still no match for another.

You would be hard pressed to find a country that didn't steal. The difference is that While any copying that the Soviets, the United States, Ect did was mostly post ww2. Further, China far surpasses anyone else when it comes to copying and the problem with people like yourself is that you cannot admit that China blatantly copies even to this day. According to everyone here the j-11, j-15, and j-16 are not copies, china didn't do anything wrong and China can make as many flanker airframes as it likes.

Back to topic, talk trash about Russia all you want, just remember your own history when you talk trash and remember the j-11 j-15, and j-16 when you want to make cheap insults about honesty.
