China red-flags India’s entry into NSG, may push for Pakistan

Poverty indicated India in no position to look down on other.

I have seen the poorest ppl look down on others. This is notabout India, this is just a forum where Pakistani's and other fake nations start posting comments on India's poverty, cows, Gods, Ganges, etc. Nothing to do with defence.

Do you really think in your peanut sized brain this attitude is Indian specific, then you got to learn. Don't you think you can find such attitudes in China? Who are you kidding? Why are you boasting? You truly do not know the reality of your country, then why speak on a country you have never been to ...

A homeless look down on another homeless to proof there is caste system do exit even for the most deprive human being?

. . . .
You need to learn English. I couldn't understand what you wrote down. The person who voted you up is a dim wit because it makes no sense.

Figurative speaking a homeless look down on another homeless is an absurd idea. Now get it through your numbskull how absurd for India to look down on the African, you ain't better than the African, at most you are equal to them.

World cares especially nations like US.That is why they are here.

No wonder the US has taken over Pakistani Nukes, because apparently they are the biggest threat and concern to India.......But hold on, the US has not taken over Pakistani Nukes, so basically nobody in the world give a **** about India! You can only whine and cry until your particular interest somehow aligns with those of a country that actually matters on the map!

Right!!! And then you woke up!

Dude, what makes you think they have woken up yet?

.
Till Pakistans nukes remain, it controls the door of the sub continent. The real power in South Asia is not India, it has nowhere to expand.

.
That makes zero sense. North Korea is a pain in the butt for everyone, especially China. Why would China advocate for North Korea joining the NSG when North Korea itself never wanted to do so? If anything, India, a superpower by 2012 and where Mumbai is better than Shanghai according to its past presidents/prime ministers, should force its way to the NSG without any support from other people because its so powerful. Jai Hind!

LMAO. India would have to grow at double digits and China would have to completely stop growing for decades for India to catch China. *If* India surpasses Chinese growth rates next year (and Indians have been bragging about this for years with nothing to show for it), at current projections, it will take over half a century before India catches China.

Meanwhile, in reality, China adds over a trillion dollars to its economy every year. So basically, China adds an entire India to its economy every 2 years. Let that sink in and realize how hopelessly behind you are.

India is one of the most racist countries on earth. And people there are regularly murdered for looking Chinese even though they and their families have lived in India for generations. Stop lying about your non-existent "culture of brotherhood and tolerance" because a quick google search reveals the truth. India should be ashamed. :agree:

Edit: I'm actually impressed by how tolerant Pakistan is compared to India. Indians would do well to learn some basic human decency from their neighbor.

BEIJING:
Hua also said the issue is of the 48-member NSG "admitting new members" instead of confining the debate to India. Observers here believe China, which has helped Pakistan build two nuclear power plants, would lobby for a seat for Islamabad in the NSG if the US pushes for India.

China's opposition could hurt India's chances of joining the NSG because many of its members believe that acceptance of NPT — an international treaty that prevents signatories from acquiring nuclear weapons — is an essential prerequisite. The United States and Britain have backed India regardless.

Hua said, China says India does not meet all the conditions for a seat in the NSG.
Ah! So China will lobby for a seat for Pakistan in the NSG? :woot:  They're living in a world of delusions.

If China says India does not meet all the conditions for a seat in the NSG, do they think for a moment that Pakistan, (the biggest nuclear proliferater along with China) does? Foot-in-mouth disease is the new normal, what?

Of course its absurd but it happens. We are better than Chinese dimwit get that thru your skull.

But we have a R&D base better than Russia in Thorium cycle.Like some other nation that stolen tech from Amsterdam and kit from China.
We didnt have such luxury.Except reactor Russians didnt give us any tech..

Oh I forgot, ancient Indian invented all the technologies, we are just recycling what you invented 1200 years ago.

.
Look seems now we are repeating ourselves and moving from the original point in debate...anyhow let me try to reply...

So you're implying that India never needed a 'big brother', wonder what the Soviet Union & later Russia were to India which is now moving towards the United States because it needs to curry with Uncle Sam for its NSG, UNSC and other bids.

There is nothing wrong in learning even from your enemy...India has always remained away from joining camps and have maintained independent foreign policy...it is the benefits of those things that today we have decent relations with almost every major force on this planet...Would you concede that much??

Now let's look at Pakistan...They always joined camps and that's why major powers have managed to influence their foreign policy..It is your dependance on atleast one power center throughout your history is what i am pointing at..Would you agree with that much??

It isn't 'double games' when Pakistan is only playing the game which furthers its own interests just like every other country does. If it leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth or Uncle Sam's, well then too bad. Pakistani armed forces have done to the TTP what America with all its USAF allies in Afghanistan couldn't accomplish in 14 long years.

Now if you are that clear about National interests then why question what other parties are doing...Why bring this moral cry about being fair or not fair regarding NSG membership for India and not Pakistan?? Bold line post Peshawar massacre sounds blind patriotism my friend...

If you think its a 'myth' that Pakistan is in the Chinese camp or that Pakistan is 'balancing relations b/w West and China' (errr this isn't 1970s anymore) then you are entitled to your 'mythical' perceptive concoctions. Its just so happens that it has no connection to reality where Pakistan is squarely in the Chinese camp indeed.

Well you are welcome to have your own opinion...however there is just one super power at the moment and thinking any country having balls to disown that power center then it is like living in fools paradise..

As for leverage regarding the west being related to America's safe exit from Afghanistan; it isn't really an 'exit' when you leave behind nearly 11k troops until 2017, even then some troops will remain as the 'coalition consolidates around Kabul'. What the Americans and everyone else figured out long ago which you and much of India hasn't is that Afghanistan cannot function without Pakistan's green light. Plain and simple.

Thanks for atleast agreeing to my statement that leverage is only till exit..whenever that happens..

By South China sea issues I meant Sino-Japanese escalation after Japan purchased the Senkakus from its private owner. THAT was a game changer and pretty recent after which Chinese gloves came off and the Americans decided they want to 'pivot' towards Asia.

Don't be naive...you don't formulate policies after an escalation....2009-2014 is not decades old era...our economy was going down the gutter and so was the interest of world powers...Now there are signs of freshness and results are in front of you...

The only reason India got the waiver from the NSG was intense lobbying and arm twisting by the United States even after which China abstained in the final vote, it didn't vote FOR India. This was in 2008, the same year the 123 agreement was inked between India and the U.S. However, you forget that the agreement was announced in 2005 by Bush Jr, a year after Pakistan had been granted MNNA status by the same guy in 2004.
You also forget that Pakistan itself reduced its diplomatic moves to rhetorical drum beating about getting India-like NSG waiver too given the geo-politics of the Afghan war where a resurgent Taliban next door left Pakistan on diplomatic back foot being accused of double-dealing etc and also because China communicated to Pakistan 'screw the NSG, we will give you nuclear tech anyways if the United States wants to play hard ball, thats what they will get'.

Now you are loosing argument here buddy...China abstained means they did not want to stop NSG waiver...Pakistan could have cried a river however she couln't have done anything about it...Now what China promised you in your bilateral agreement is b/w you and China...however with NSG waiver we can practically trade with anyone in the world...also if you are so convinced about China giving you what you need then why are you making noise now??

And a result of Pakistan's all-weather friendship with China were the two new Chashma nuclear power plants, regarding which India, U.S and some others whined about for a while but when they realized it wasn't going to change anything; it fizzled out in to the background. This is directly related to China's abstinence from the vote granting India the waiver. Since then the NSG and everyone else has looked the other way as China has moved forward to contruct new nuclear power plants in Pakistan, Chashma-III and Chashma-IV. And there ain't a damn thing anyone can do to stop that.P.S. Not to mention the two more 1000MW nuclear power plants to be built along Karachi's coast. Or the 3-more plants being under negotiations under the current government to be built in Muzzafargarh, Punjab. If this new deal goes through, that means FIVE plants on top of Chashma III and IV.

Already stated above...Please don't bring in your bilateral things here...What China wants to give you nobody can do jack about it...However can china get you a NSG waiver like US got for India?? Answer is a big no...and the reason - your reputation and your insignificant geo-political status...

Both India growing at a near double digit rate of growth and China slowing down are a distinct possibility(you can keep on adding a trillion dollars to your economy every year but growth wise you would still be falling and in long term its the growth rate that matters) as of now and this is supported by current projections and economic scenarios.

Thanks for conceding to to the fact that even if it takes half a century currently it seems that India will catch up to China. And moreover, 'half a century' is a blip in larger schemes of things. So, it really doesn't matter by when but one thing is sure that it will happen and that was the entire essence of my post. Let this sink in and you will realize that the facts you are quoting are known to everyone and everyone understands them, but at the same time everyone realizes that if any country in the world can stand upto China economically,it is India. So, India will get its due even if it takes a bit of time.

Also, India doesn't have to be economically equal to China to be heard at International forums. It just has to be big enough and this will happen sooner than 'half a century'.
