China offers goodies to Pakistan, urges world powers not to abandon it

On top of lip service, Beijing had promised $1.2 billion for the Iran Pak pipeline (which is a long term investment and probably not going to fall through given US opposition to it) and $200 mil were invested in Gwadar ( over a long period in the past, which too has not been a good investment since it has become a Ghost town because of BLA).

Given US gives out $2.5 bil an year in cash to Pak every year, I don't see the meat around the bones. Yes, I get the moral support but hey even North Korea gets moral support.

That was what USA & even you FAILED to understand, Pakistanis hate aid that is given to world's most corrupt ruling political parties, the aid that had been taken in the name of Pakistan & distributed among the PPP members, US never understand this simple thing. If US had think wisely & instead of giving aid to govt, they themselves had invest in Pakistan help Pakistan get rid of electricity crises, jobs crises, education crises, build up schools & fund it, give Pakistani goods special preferences in US than US would be as popular as China in Pakistan.
