When I came to this forum a few days ago I was a huge fan of China and Chinese people. Now that I see the way they think of us, I can't describe how upsetting it is for someone to hate you just because your country is poor. Thank you for showing your hatred to us or else I would have been a fool.

Similar feelings for me, after I read Indians' comments on China in TOI.com or reddif.com. I guessed Modi had changed India a little bit to some extent, but now happy to know most Indians still live in their own bubble and make delusional assumptions every day. Most people who dislike India are not because India is poor, but for the reason that 10% well-off Indians show little concern and sympathy towards the rest 90% Indians who live in hell. They'd rather drag real patriots down, reinforce their own immoral interests and have no guilt living in some fancy colonies when millions of citizens are wandering on the dirtiest street and brainwashed with a notion, they are already content, they are the luckiest one across the universe.

Democracy is a mess dude.It is always a mess.But for our condition it is the only best suitable option.And it proved that in time and again.

On topic :What a self consoling article of Chinese media.Within 15 years we lifted around 300 million people from poverty to middle class.

There is no shame in that.We have had 70% poverty around 2 decades ago.Now it is reduced to 20% .It is an achievement .

I have nothing against Indians, I'm just saying the truth. 10% of Indians would rather the 90% suffer in quiet as to not disturb their "patriotism", rather than face the problems in their own society. It is just like how the British aristocrats of the 19th century and early 20th century treated the British poor like cattle and their colonial subjects worse.

Demo=people, when do politicians in the west really care? Rich people can buy polices and those so called demonstrations are useless. Populism and elections for incompetent politicians overweigh "demos". They don't wanna face it, just let them live in their bubble, it's best for us and won't be dangerous for us.

It is not communist or democracy system that matters, what matters is the system can solve the countries problem and make the people live better.
All Chinese people were peasants 50years ago, peasants problem is the national problem of China. Who can handle the peasants’ problem will be legitimate to lead the country. Chinese communist party gives the answer, by mobilizing majority poor, to deprive the minority owner of farm lands, and redistribute the lands to all. This is the same in the Chinese history, when a new dynasty replaces the older one by force, and farm land redistributed.
The communist party distributed the land to poor peasants after the establish the new China, but in the 1950’s when China begin to industrialize the country, then the party have to push for collective economy by forming “people’s commune”, and establish factories by the government, because in China, too much people very little land, so people very poor, and had almost any industries. The first tractor factory make one large size model(because this factories prepares make tank), no peasant can afford a tractor. Only the collective economy helped China to industrialize.
Democracy should be the result of the development not the reason. In china, each peasant is entitled to have a piece of farm land, no matter how small it is, and is entitle to have a piece of land to built up his own house, the cost to live in the village very low, so a peasant can left his family in the home village and go to a city to work in factory or for any other works for a little pay. China is the largest manufacturer and no slums in the city.
but India’s elected government can not do what the Chinese communist have done to develop the country, and also Chinese people vote to elect the three or four persons to run the village, such as the head of village, the village accountant, and the head of villager’s assembly, the election is real, the strong men with more relatives and friends get the most votes, so the ordinary people not like to vote, the candidates have to invite the people to restaurants. I know that two brothers had a physical fight in their won garden between themselves for supporting different candidates.

where as in Indian if one ppl is killed, its known to world..

yes we are still very small economy and we have very long way to go. but we are developing under democracy(though very slow than China). there are many problems with our system but it does not mean we should change our whole system. rather we must try to solve problems with our system.
we are poor, backward but we are very happy in our democracy. for us Freedom is more valuable than money because we know what is slavery. we have lived in slavery for nearly 1000 years.
Its true British gave us democracy but it is also true that we wanted democracy. our many generations have dreamed and struggled for this freedom which we are enjoying.
you are happy with communist regime and we are happy in our democracy. we both should achieve our goals with our own ways. its true you are gone far ahead of us but for us our freedom is more important than economic growth. and we are happy with it.

China is not a dictatorship country, so we won't force other country to transform its society system.
But it doesn't mean we can't compared two different society systems.Like we shouldn't force somebody to use gun instead of bow, but we can compare gun and bow.
Democracy is a spirit, a ideology,not a society system form.In Chinese we called democracy 民主, the first word 民 means people, and the second word 主 means dominate or master.
Our society system just like modern company form, we people are shareholders and CCP is a professional CEO, we put forward demand, and CCP try to meet our conditions.
BTW, I remember Indian will do socialism in Indian constitution.

Thanks for your warning,do not worry,our government has dealt with the incident 26 years ago and nobody cares about it today. By the way,it is actually a Chinese version color revolution,luckily,CCP handled with it successfully. One more thing, believe or not,that accident is well known by college students and the youths,they watch it through YOUTUBE or download to transport the video,but most of us think the protesters are naive and simple ,they kill the soldiers and fire the armor trucks,they try to shake the country and benefit the West,the best way is to improve the country not to destroy the country like USSR. You guys always exaggerate the influence of this incident ,trust me, NO ONE CARES ABOUT THIS.
