China military power almost equal to USA in East Asia

How does it matter if the comparison is only about East Asia - what happens when we compare China and US in the North Atlantic or the Pacific or for tha t matter any other Seas?

i feel this points to a feeling of respect, fear, admiration and envy that they have towards white caucasians. maybe they dont realize whites are just as human as they are.

2. the US "combat experiences" if 1,000s of naval commandos against some banana republics around Amazons or 10s of 1,000s troopers against Talibans either in moutainous areas or deserts can be classified as "combat experiences", then I doubt that they serve that much when against a decent mid sized land-based power say Iran, let alone a France-like great power. Let me make this clearer : Any large scale land battles/war against PLA inside or nearby China is basically a suicidal mission for any army, the US included, no matter how much "combat experiences" they had with the Middle Easteners.

Then you better doubt your PLA because the most 'combat experience' the PLA have to date came from beating up monks and running over students.

You must compare the total military capability, not regional. If there is a conflict, do you think the rest of the American military assets will be held back, twiddling their thumbs, saying "oh no, we mustn't move to East Asia and upset the balance"?

Few people, least of all Chinese strategists, would claim that China will match US military might any time soon.

And what kind of opponents USA has fought after the WWII?

They have experience maintaining a global presence and conducting wars halfway around the globe. While you are right they haven't faced a worthy foe in quite a while, the same is true -- by a bigger margin -- for Chinese forces.

Wrong. PRC defeated both USA and Soviet Union as well as weaklings like India and Vietnam. Recently we defeated Philippines and Japan even while USA looked for an opportunity to intervene (and are in the middle of spanking India again). Nobody has a decorated victory record like PRC.

There is a reason why China is such a big country.... and getting bigger and bigger as we secure our maritime periphery! We have thrown down the gauntlet to USA.... the winner will be the paramount superpower of the Eastern hemisphere!
