This happend during a Northern Ireland Civil Rights Association march. the soldiers First Battalion of the Parachute Regiment (1 Para).That govt didnt lose the right to govern did it. Do the not teach that in english schools? Oh I wonder why?

The West has brutally attacked Libya, kicked out BRIC investment, and brought in Western oil supermajors as well as set up a new base for US's AFRICOM to conveniently steal more resources in the future. Yep, we're stealing all the resources. It's wrong but who cares? I must agree democracy no longer exists, the UK, US etc are all run by dictators.

Do you think China is the same and the UK? We just protect our investment, we develop the infrastructure in Libya, all worth several hundred billion dollars project, all destroyed in the war. If those new dictator is not compensation, not even think about a dollar into their pockets.

People stating that China supports Ghaddafi are idiots. China absolutely despises this guy. He first developed a grudge with China in the 1970's when he fought with Tanzania. During the 1980's and 1990's, he continued to mouth off China at every turn. He even went as far as to support Taiwan under Chen's presidency. That's why China did not block the UN resolution for a no-fly zone.

However, China does have some construction contracts in Libya. Many of these projects have already started and China expects payment for it. The rebels stated that they would not honor these agreements by Ghaddafi's regime, which meant that Chinese companies did all that work for nothing. Well if they won't pay, they can starve then.

Pure business.

Oh and don't give me that crap about supporting democracy either. China isn't a charity and if the West did care about democracy/human rights, they'd be invading Bahrain and Israel by now. No payment for our work = no money for rebels.
