China is blocking release of Libya's frozen assets

Not all the the rebels were soldiers, most are civilians, they have no proper training or anything. I'm sure you've seen them mounting makeshift guns onto the backs of trucks. They aren't really a match for a proper army without outside help.
What exactly are we stealing?
Yeh I saw that Italian town, but in Italy I don't think protesters have been killed.

And "we", as in western oil companies, have now access to cheap oil that they previously couldn't buy and it was sold to other countries! Who is going to compensate Chinese, Russians or Brazilians?

They would not need to buy food and fuel that Libya has in abundance, if they didn't invite NATO to bomb the hell out of their own country.

You obviously don't know how things work in Libya.

Food is grown by farmers, the stuff they grow must be paid for. The government can't just come in and take the food and pay nothing. This is why they need their funds held overseas.

Same with fuel. They have an abundance of oil, yes, but they can't just take the oil without paying. The refineries etc are run by private companies who take the oil out of the ground and pay tax.

The government can't just take take take, someone has to pay for it.

As for Nato bombings, Nato wouldn't had to of helped the libyan people if the dictator just got out when the libyan people told him too.

You mean into the pockets of those new dictator? Since the West has participated in the spoils conference, I think they have a duty to pay it

I also know that democracy is very good, for example, a United Nations agreement circle into a no-fly bombing, this is a magic, but it is really the essence of Western democracy.

The UN resolution was voted on by alot of non western countries including other arab countries. I love how Chinese members of this forum desperately try to turn this whole thing into an Anti West blow up by ignoring facts.

And to further their anti western sentiment, they are actually trying to criticize NATO for helping the libyan people and defend the dictator.

Gaddafi is a criminal. He killed unarmed protesters. There are videos of this.
The UK unrest is criminal, they smashed up shops and looted them. They did not demand anything. Besides the UK police did not kill them.
The UK probably went in for a number of reasons:
To protect the oil it buys from Libya.
Because it was the right thing to do in terms of stopping a mad dictator.

We already buy oil from Libya so why would it be stealing for us to get those contracts back again?

It is clear that the UN resolution was for a no fly zone to protect only civilians, Not for Nato and its allies to take sides in a civil war which is what nato have done

Farting! China and other countries only allow a "no-fly zone", when to allow a bombing military targets on the ground (non-air defense targets)? You deceive the United Nations, the West is back to their robbers face, so simple.

China is just annoyed a dictator was thrown out for deomocracy.
