What's new

China has never stated the 100 billion investment in India

To all of our Chinese friends here.
We dont beg for aid or investment. We decently invite a lot of world players to invest in India. Those who have money can invest and they will get their profit. If you dont interested in investment then you can go . Others
are ready for the investment in India.

And according to possible behaviour of new government they will do anything for reduce the trade deficit and it will not be good for Chinese.

According to Chinese media reports, China is prepared to invest more in India. However there is no commitment of a specified amount (100 Billion) in the next 5 years.

Whatever it is .We dont care .If they want profit they can invest here with pleasure. If they cant a lot of other nations will do it.Thats all.

I have said many times that it'd be stupid to invest on the development of Indian infrastructures by China. We should never never do it again to assist those hostile nations like India or Vietnam. We could promote export but not loans nor aid.

do you know the difference between investment, loan and aid??

Indian people in general are not hostile to China at all. It's a split whereas 39% are skeptical of China. 31% are positive of China, and 30% are neutral/no opinion.

How Countries View China | Pew Research Center's Global Attitudes Project

Hostile nations in Asia are as you can see Japan and Vietnam and to some extent the Phillippines, but even here China has 38% favorable opinion. Other Asian countries are all positive of China.

Regarding overall numbers for China, the overall median percentage is mainly dragged down by countries such as Japan, Vietnam, Italy, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Jordan and to some extend the Phillippines and the U.S.

The "funny" thing is that negative spread is higher in Italy, Germany and Turkey compared to Phillippines where the negative spread stands at 20% (58 vs 38).

So next time, when you want to consider India as an "enemy", look at these numbers. I don't know what China has done "bad" to Germany or Italy, but China for sure is investing a LOT more in that former Nazi country.

So if China can invest in Germany, then I sure hope China will invest in India. Relationship between China and India is important. These two are two huge neighbours and having hostility agains each other, only ruins things for both nations.

Germany on the other hand, and Italy is no neighbour, neither has China done anything wrong to them, but they still dislike China, way more than the Phillippines for example do.

we dont lick the boots or polish it,like our neighbors do,we just mean business, nothing else. And yeah certainly we dont know how to amuse others with silly slogans eg : higher than bla bla bla and lower than ..... friendship or honey milk suger bread partnership.we are not forcing deals down your throats forcefully.benefits are mutual here so dont act like you doing any favour on.

I knew Indians would bring this up, it's only a matter of time. You know you've got them when the Indians mention "freedom" ;)

Tell you this though. There are plenty of channels in China for people to protest government decisions. And protests happen all the time. The only thing that is not allowed is Arab Spring style riots. Do you really believe China has been built by 1.3 billion mindless slaves? Good for you then, keep that thought and spread it to your people.

Back to India investment. You can talk tough anyway you want, China is the only country that has the capacity to put in $100 billion. Not a single western government can come up with that kind of money. They have to order their private companies, banks to make the investment. That is a political suicide. Japan's $35 billion pledge is a heck of a bet by Abe. Hope you realize that is an exception, not a norm. Japan did it because they anticipated China would make similar moves and they wanted to get ahead. But you know what? Surprise, we are not playing this game. We are not buying the BS that India is an investment hotbed because we are the one making the bed. You don't call shots when you don't have the money, period.

It is your money, your call.

If you have better use for that money, go and invest it. We will still progress ahead with or without your investment.

It is true we are tad bit disappointed after the fruitful Japan visit. You cannot fault us for expecting more from China... being a bigger country and in past has made the hints of investing in India.
