China Has Lost Taiwan, and It Knows It

Everyone can say something that is so easy to say. It means nothing until he puts his blood where his mouth is.

Nobody ever said anything about using force to accomplish this. Nobody is talking about shooting their relatives (WTF!). It was more like the government agrees to simply relinquish control.

That is just a dream. You apparently haven't picked up the most important message from what happened in Beijing in 1989. The current PRC government won't relinquish its control without a bloody fight. If anyone wants to replace them, better put his own blood on the table before he is taken seriously.

Nobody aspire to be American if USA is a dead broke country and very strict migration problem.
Stop kidding yourself.

Here you show your classic Chinese trait and a deep misunderstanding of soft power. Money = buys your status for the Chinese. The Chinese are very materialistic, and you know what I mean.

You believe if you are rich it automatically implies respect and worship. This stems from growing up where freedom, rights, appreciation for people across all aspects are stunted. Like it or not people see the US as the ultimate place for freedom and opportunity of being successful because it's about hard work and our democratic system.

Chinese don't quite get that concept. This is why we see the richest of Chinese tourists, when encountered in international environments, act loud and obnoxious. To a point where your government has to print booklets to teach the Chinese how to behave outside of China and within. Nobody every aspires for brand China. Your nuvo rich are looking to take their money and escape out of China.

Wow an "opinion" on a U.S. regime propaganda mouthpiece repeating the same old crap as the past decades minced with some few fresh anecdotes. That changes everything.

Degree matters. Some really don't want to and do not hesitate to shed blood to hold on to the power. For them, blood is the prerequisite in order to be taken seriously.

The delusion is you, if USA is not economy powerhouse and without a relax migration policy. No one will wants to come to US. You can keep hipping on your so called soft power or brag about it's policy. Mexico is also a democracy and yet we see how many wants to go Mexico?

If USA today drop out of 10 top economy, I can guarantee hardly anyone wants to come to USA. Keep up with your delusion.

Absolutely no, and that's exactly why the ROC is nothing but just a name. Nominally they are still 'China', but we all know that it refers to Taiwan.
That is why I do not see accepting KMT as one of the government or party in whole China will decrease CPC legacy.

How many 'ifs' are you going to put in your argument? Enough 'ifs' of course the US will fail this and that and those and anything you can list. But how many people are going stop coming to the US or stop investing just because of some 'ifs' that will most likely will never occur? The fact that you point out weak democracies -- like Mexico -- actually support US and our soft power. People sees the differences and they wonder why those differences exists, and once they stopped wondering, they come to US and/or start investing in US. Our soft power works and there is not a damn thing you can do about it no matter how many 'ifs' you posits on the Internet.

Now I get it. I need to write in more simplified ways for you to get it. Try to follow me, I will try my best to baby step this explanation.

I said "being top economy is not enough"; you need to be beyond being a top economy. There are countries in the west that have higher per capita income than us; but even so, people want to be in America. Nobody aspires to be Chinese, act like Chinese, live under dictatorial rules like Chinese, wish upon on their countries to rule like china, speak like Chinese. Brand China has a problem.

That will eventually bring the downfall of US, in 30-50 years, there'll be no clear ethnic majority in US, the country will be falling apart by the divisive force of peoples of different cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

A country needs a mainstream, predominant culture tied with some ethnicity, which US always had before, once that's gone, the country will be gone with it. Same is also true to Canada and Australia.

. .
China will never have the soft power dominance the US possesses. US culture dominates. China is an afterthought.

No one aspires to be Chinese.
No one can be Chinese besides Chinese, No one can be Japanese besides Japanese, No one can be Koreans besides Koreans. US eventually will perish one day due to its multiculturalism.

Silly. Admitting Tiananmen or Mao's past mistakes aren't going to overthrow the CPC as well. Why is the CPC so sensitive on such issues? It's about the moral authority to govern.

I don't think KMT has any moral ground to govern China too. What has they contributed to China? Not much... They do burden most of the WWII fighting against Japanese but need to be remind. Their performance are quite poor especially in 1944. They still can lose a major ichi-go campaign against Japanese. Communist army were seriously weaken in 1936, so I don't think it will be fair to fault them not contributing much in WWII campaign.
